This was an incredible tour with a chance to taste foods specially to Takayama. My group of 6pax have enjoyed our 2D1N tour of the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, we were especially fortunate to have such an excellent guide in Ms Zhang, 张静娟. Our itinerary was well scheduled and Ms Zhang's detailed explanation of the places that we're visiting is clear and precise. She has also advised us of the nice local food that we should try. The 6 different transportation is an experience as we crossed the Alps and the mountains to reach the snow walls. The highest point of the wall was 11m, unfortunately, it was raining when we reached the snow wall, our photos was alittle blurry and wet but our excitement has compensated for the weather 😂

The overall itinerary was smooth, and there was ample time to explore each tourist spot. Our tour leader, Kevin, provided excellent care and arrangements, and even helped us take photos. However, the itinerary stated two nights at a hot spring inn, but unfortunately, we only stayed there on the first night, which was a bit disappointing.

I previously joined a Shirakawa-go day tour, and this time, because I wanted to visit Kamikochi and my family was going for the first time, I decided to take them to Shirakawa-go. Booking this two-day tour felt like a great value! The onsen hotel we stayed at was also very good. In the evening, we could leisurely stroll and dine in the Takayama Old Town, enjoying its atmosphere. The onsen hotel was excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed the hot springs. The next day, after a good night's sleep, we headed to Kamikochi. Without the long travel time, we had a full four hours to explore, which was perfect. I would definitely consider joining this tour again in the future. Our tour leader, Liu Mei, was fantastic and very thoughtful. She even proactively helped us book a Hida beef restaurant and secured small souvenir gifts for us.

Alpen Takayama Matsumoto Pass Review – My Honest Opinion I used this pass during my recent trip to Japan, which included the itinerary: Nagoya → Matsumoto → Alpine Route → Toyama → Takayama → Nagoya. 1. **Fast Delivery of Exchange Voucher:** It was great to receive the pass exchange voucher within two days of ordering. 2. **Easy Exchange for Physical Ticket at Nagoya Station JR Counter:** The process of exchanging the pass at the counter and immediately reserving seats made train travel much more convenient during the trip. 3. **High Utility for Multi-Region Travel:** Since my plan was to travel through Matsumoto, the Alpine Route, Toyama, and Takayama, it was very convenient not to have to arrange separate transportation for each segment. 4. **Beautiful Scenery from the Train:** The views from the train were truly wonderful. There were many sections where I traveled through mountains and natural landscapes, making the journey itself feel like part of the trip. 5. **Excellent Customer Service:** When an unexpected situation arose during my trip, Klook's customer service responded in real-time, allowing me to resolve the issue without much difficulty. 6. **Planning to Use Again:** I was very satisfied with this trip and plan to use Klook again when I visit next time. This is an honest review based on my own purchase and experience.

Extremely quick and hassle-free to book! Love that you can buy it right before heading out since it’s for unreserved seats. Just remember to show up early at the Nohi Bus Center to line up, as it's first come, first served. Smooth and convenient ride overall!

Fast delivery. We received the exchange couple within few days. We went to Nagoya station to exchange the pass and also reserved our seats. We visited Gero, Shirakawago, Kanazawa, Fukui, Tsuruga. We took JR train, express bus and Shinkansen train. Very worth it

It's convenient for a 2-day, 1-night trip to Hirayu and Shinhotaka. The only downside is that it can't be used to book a trip to Kamikochi; you have to buy a separate 2800 yen return bus ticket. It would be best if that were included, so you wouldn't have to buy another ticket. It's convenient to stop in Hirayu, and it's also convenient for Takayama.
