The tour was great! Fuji, the tour guide explained everything so well in English. he was the best part of the tour. I learned a lot and enjoyed it immensely. their sake is really good too! I bought a bottle of one of samples we got to try as part of the tour. A great tour to do in Takayama. And great with a group or solo.

This was an incredible tour with a chance to taste foods specially to Takayama. But, more than that I’d was interesting to learn about the history and culture of Takayama and the region as well as Japan. our tour guide was Harry. He was so knowledgeable about the food, culture and history. He imparted this information in a friendly easy going manner. He answered all my questions and more. My group of 6pax have enjoyed our 2D1N tour of the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, we were especially fortunate to have such an excellent guide in Ms Zhang, 张静娟. Our itinerary was well scheduled and Ms Zhang's detailed explanation of the places that we're visiting is clear and precise. She has also advised us of the nice local food that we should try. The 6 different transportation is an experience as we crossed the Alps and the mountains to reach the snow walls. The highest point of the wall was 11m, unfortunately, it was raining when we reached the snow wall, our photos was alittle blurry and wet but our excitement has compensated for the weather 😂

This time, I joined a small group tour to Kurobe Tateyama. Although there was no tour guide, the driver was gentle and friendly, and he was an expert on Nagoya, so we could ask him questions at any time. Since the attractions are quite far apart, there is a lot of time spent riding in the vehicle, but it's also a great opportunity to rest along the way. The scenery along the route was super beautiful. In the evening, we stayed at a hot spring hotel where we could soak and relax. If you are thinking about visiting Kurobe Tateyama along with Shirakawa-go, I highly recommend this itinerary, as it saves a lot of time on self-planning.

Departing in mid-October, we seized the opportunity before the mountain trails closed. I had actually wanted to go for a very long time. Our tour guide, Ms. Yu, was extremely attentive the entire time, provided very clear explanations, answered all the group members' questions, and interacted with us a lot. We had a wonderful time, and both dinner and breakfast featured authentic Japanese-style meals.

I previously joined a Shirakawa-go day tour, and this time, because I wanted to visit Kamikochi and my family was going for the first time, I decided to take them to Shirakawa-go. Booking this two-day tour felt like a great value! The onsen hotel we stayed at was also very good. In the evening, we could leisurely stroll and dine in the Takayama Old Town, enjoying its atmosphere. The onsen hotel was excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed the hot springs. The next day, after a good night's sleep, we headed to Kamikochi. Without the long travel time, we had a full four hours to explore, which was perfect. I would definitely consider joining this tour again in the future. Our tour leader, Liu Mei, was fantastic and very thoughtful. She even proactively helped us book a Hida beef restaurant and secured small souvenir gifts for us.

I am so worried at first because I cannot get any information before the day of the trip. But when I go to meet point, I find out that BaBa san can speak fluent English and his partner can speak fluent Mandarin! They are really good match with each other!

I made a last-minute reservation the night before, and since I could select the Korean guide option, I booked right away! Nagoya is a must-visit destination, but meeting our guide 'Im-ho,' who is fluent in three languages (English, Korean, and Chinese), made it a truly special and fun trip. From the meeting point, he told us it was strong out in the sun and to wait in the shade across the street. With his tsundere charm, he recommended must-eat local restaurants and always clearly held up a sign with the meeting time so we wouldn't get confused. Thanks to him, it was a safe and enjoyable trip! ^^

Since these locations are over two hours from Nagoya by car, it is definitely worth joining a local tour. The guide was excellent—responsible, well-organized, and provided plenty of free time, which was more than enough for the visit. I loved the first stop the most, it is well worth the trip. The 'Silver Clock' meeting point is very easy to find, and the maps and suggestions provided by the guide were detailed and easy to follow. They also set up WhatsApp and WeChat groups to ensure seamless communication throughout the day.
