Transport in Hanoi

This bus tour is definitely worth a try. It gave me ideas where to go and how to go there. Our driver is kind too to give me a minute to take photos in some landmarks. The pick up is from Lotte Centre Hanoi and will end on the ticket booth at the Hoan Kiem Lake.

VicSapa is a great choice, with clean rooms and toilets. The van driver picked us up from Sapa and brought us to Lao Cai, which took almost an hour. We then stayed at the VicSapa Lounge for about 2.5 hours. They have a restaurant with good food, as well as bathrooms and shower rooms where you can freshen up before boarding the train. The lounge is conveniently located right in front of the train station. I felt a little dizzy at first on the train, and it can be a bit noisy, but you eventually get used to it. I recommend this if you prefer to lie down while traveling back to Hanoi. Snacks, water, toiletries, clean pillows, and blankets are provided, and they also sell additional snacks during the ride. Just manage your expectations—the beds and cabins are quite small and narrow. Overall, it’s a comfortable and convenient experience.

Smooth transfer from Sapa to Hanoi. It’s a really long drive, but everything was made comfortable and convenient through this service. It’s door-to-door—from your accommodation in Sapa straight to your accommodation in Hanoi—just make sure you provide the correct address ^^ Shoutout to Mr. Lâm Quỳnh, who was very kind and drove us safely to Hanoi. I would definitely recommend this over the sleeper bus or sleeper train, especially if you get motion sickness like I do.

We messaged their customer service, and they were responsive and spoke English well. They picked us up from our hotel via shuttle service and dropped us off at the G8 Bus Office for free. The staff at the ticketing office were polite and spoke English well. We boarded the bus and departed from Sapa on time – lol! The bus provided sleepers, a plastic bag for shoes, free tissues, a water bottle, air conditioning, a blanket, and two pillows. However, the USB charging port in my cabin was not working. The driver drove carefully, and we didn’t experience any sharp turns. That said, they no longer dropped us off at our hotel.

Great way to meet new friends. scorching humid so couldnt feel the overall vibe personally. But great way to enjoy hidden gems of the nightlife without the big crowds.

The office contacted us a day ago about the rough pickup time and other driver details, and exact pick up time and vehicle number was given one hour before our pick up time. All the commnications were through Whatsapp. The driver welcomed us to our seats and drove safely along the way from Halong Bay to Hanoi. For us, they specified that we will be transported by another car from surburban Hanoi to center Hanoi, it's not comfortable as the limousine, but it's still good. The driver was kind enough to divert the backseat air conditioning vents to other direction, and he also checked the traffic before inviting us to get down at our destination. From this experience of us, they did provide great service for this minivan travel.

Everything was smooth, from the shuttle pickup to the welcoming at Lao Cai station till the arrangement at the cabin in the train. We enjoyed the trip very much! strongly recommended for those wanna try a heritage train!
