Perth Day trips

An extremely memorable trip, yielding experiences and lessons far more valuable than money. Our two guides, David and Mark, wore many hats; aside from driving and giving explanations, they also built the fire for the barbecue and set up the campsite for dinner. The food was fully stocked with things like grilled sausages, steak, chicken breast, salad, fruit, pasta, and hot drinks. As we ate, they explained the order in which the stars appear after sunset. Just like that, accompanied by the super strong sea breeze of the Indian Ocean and gazing at the sunset with its Tyndall effect, we enjoyed an incredibly relaxing open-air dinner. As night fell, stars began to twinkle in the distance one by one. Although there were too many professional astronomical terms to fully understand, it didn't diminish the awe of seeing the starry sky and the Milky Way filling the heavens at all. They even let us see the true appearance of a star, identical to the 🪐 emoji, with a ring surrounding the planet. Seeing a star with the naked eye through a telescope lens was truly amazing!!!! It's just a pity that cell phones couldn't capture it through the telescope lens 🥲 Such a perfect journey, this will forever remain my 'right now' moment.

itinerary: 10/10 — enjoyed it up until the very end. everything was clearly briefed and timing was well kept. • attractions on the way: 9/10— visited a number of beautiful beaches, it would’ve been perfect if there were some engaging activities in between on our way to the Pinnacles. nevertheless, views were breathtaking and enjoyable! • group size: 9/10 — there were roughly 26 people during the tour, it was an ideal group size for me, though we did have to squeeze in between our seats • guide: 10/10 — our guide was hardworking, friendly and sweet! she kept the energy consistent and was also inclusive in terms of providing vegetarian / halal meals for muslim tourists! also shared alot of her knowledge on the beaches and deserts we visited!

I easily boarded the ferry after receiving the admission QR code via email, and the bus tour upon arrival at Rottnest Island was also excellent. The guide and driver provided great explanations, and on the return trip, they made a lot of effort to ensure passengers could see dolphins.

I love how passionate about astronomy our guides were, they told us a lot about the stars that could be seen in the southern hemisphere and you could tell how much they loved stargazing. The whole experience was really enjoyable.

The guide David is awesome! He is friendly and passionate in sharing about the places he brought us to. 9 hours trip - pace was just nice and not too rushed. Stargazing and dinner at the pinnacles was definitely a vibe.

We had a fantastic Margaret River day tour! Everything was well organised, and our driver/guide, Michael, was friendly, knowledgeable, and kept the day running smoothly. We visited beautiful scenic spots, enjoyed great food and wine, and had plenty of time at each stop. Even though Lake Clifton was closed, the replacement stop at Vasse Virgin was a nice addition. Highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to experience the best of Margaret River in a day!

Tour guide David is very experienced and knows exactly which angles take the best photos; the results are fantastic! Throughout the entire trip, you could feel his passion for his work. He was energetic along the way, sharing the features of the attractions and little stories from his life with us, creating a wonderful atmosphere. The only downside was that the lunch included in the itinerary was a bit disappointing, and personally, I didn't feel it was worth the price. I suggest that future participants consider bringing their own food or preparing their own meals, as that would make for a more enjoyable dining experience. Overall, David's guidance is still highly recommended!

If you want a relaxing, stress-free trip immersed in natural scenery, this is an excellent choice! Tour guide David is amazing 👍 and very attentive, with delightful surprises at hidden gems along the way. From day to night, experience sandboarding and stargazing by moonlight 🔭. The itinerary is packed with activities, highly recommended!

What an awesome tour! We had a total of five guests on our tour and our tour guide was friendly, down to earth, knowledgable, and provided great service. BBQ dinner in the bush was good. The stops along the way to Barna Mia felt well picked out to get a feel for the WA bush. Barna Mia was fantastic - so many small Australian mammals to see and watch, and do yourself a favour - buy a gift at the gift shop, because the money supports a great cause. If you are looking for something a bit different and love Australian wildlife, this tour is a must-do!
