fun snorkelling, we added $89 for the guided snorkeling experience as this voucher only includes a self snorkel, suitable for experienced snorkeling. guided snorkeling fees more safe. it’s really beautiful

Downloading the app that explains the history of the Kuranda Railway and listening to it during the trip made it very interesting. There are Gold and Heritage seat grades, but I thought Heritage was sufficient. This time, it was the rainy season, so the grandeur of Barron Falls was exceptional!

Sea was choppy and many got seasick to the first reef. The staff from Evolution were friendly and professional in their role and how they handle the seasick situation. Activities like snokelling and diving were conducted safely and professionally. Staff that were not involved in the sea activities but were on deck were also keeping a look out at the activities. Lunch "looks" delicious but were too seasick to enjoy. Thumbs up and highly recommended.

View of Daintree rainforest from the sky. we switched to 2-way Cable car as the return train ride was pretty late and we were staying at Port Douglas. There were 3 stops and we could see Baron Falls plus walk around the Kurang Village.

Small aquarium with animals found in the great barrier reef and rainforest. attend the multiple presentations that they have as they are very informational and educational.

It was an enjoyable experience, and spending a day at the Barrier Reef is truly worthwhile. The staff were very helpful and polite, and all equipment was provided. Lunch was served midday, followed by wine and snacks at tea time.

Wonderful experience! Well ogranized for over 100 passsengers, from safety, seating, equipment to lunch and afternoon tea. Great for our first time snorkelling, and staff were friendly. unfortunately, the helicopter was cancelled due to the weather but everything else was good. Even though we got really seasick (although we took tablets), it was totally worth it!

Adventure day at Daintree today. It was a wonderful experience with sunshine and a light breeze of rain in the rainforest. The journey was long, but it was worth it.

Nice island getaway with a relaxing vibe
We joined a day trip to Fitzroy Island and overall had a nice experience. The boat ride from the marina took about 45 minutes, which was quite manageable.
The weather in the days before our trip had been rainy, so the guide let us know in advance that the water might not be very clear. Even so, it was still enjoyable to spend time on the island and go into the water. The beach we were at had corals instead of soft sand, so it was a bit harder and more slippery to walk on, something visitors may want to be prepared for. We still managed to see a few fishes and corals while snorkelling.
Overall, it was a relaxing and pleasant day trip, especially if you want to enjoy island scenery and spend some time by the water. I’d recommend bringing suitable footwear for the coral beach and managing expectations depending on recent weather conditions.
