Reviews
The crew took good care of the passengers and buffet lunch was good too. Glass bottom and semi submersible boat were nice experience to bring us see the corals in the sea. Did not manage to see any turtles. Snorkeling was fun and see lots of fishes.
Sun Lovers sea platform provides a variety of activities, 10 points are suitable for a family to participate in, the above price includes snorkeling equipment, lunch, submarine glass boat, introduction of marine life, and a feeding show. If you want to participate in the underwater glass boat activity, remember to pay attention to the timetable on the sea platform. Remember that two o'clock is the last show, 2:45 minutes for the introduction of underwater creatures, and 3:00 for the underwater feeding show. In addition, you can pay to participate: 1) Helicopter 2) Deep diving 3) Undersea adventure activities with oxygen mask (you can also participate if you can’t swim) 4) Borrow a gopro (the mobile phone shooting effect is worse than expected, which may be due to the waterproof case, and you can borrow it if you don’t need money) Warm reminder: the Great Barrier Reef is really beautiful, everyone should protect it together, most sunscreens will damage the corals, so the use of sunscreen products should be reduced, it is recommended to bring your own long-sleeved swimsuit, or borrow the jellyfish suit on the platform, you can do it to the effect of sun protection. ☺️
The round trip to the outer reef alone takes 3 hours. It departs at 10 am and returns to the port at 6 pm, with a stop at Emerald Island in the middle. It is already 12 o'clock when we arrive at the floating platform of the outer reef, and it is already 12:15 when the boat docks. Meals will be served from 12:00 to 14:00 at the same time. We chose to go snorkeling first, put on all the equipment and went into the water. We felt a little dizzy from the waves (the captain said the wind and waves were a bit strong that day), so we went ashore to prepare for dinner, and found that it was already 13:50! There are only 10 minutes left until the end of the meal! In fact, the crew's service attitude is very good, the equipment is quite complete, and the food supply is abundant. Although we only have 10 minutes left to eat, they will keep asking us to get more and eat more. However, the time spent on transportation back and forth during the itinerary was too long, and the actual time to play was only 3.5 hours. In addition, due to the strong wind and waves, the semi-submarine glass boat and submarine ecological introduction were canceled that day. The whole activity felt a bit monotonous and boring. Especially after entering the water, most of the corals seen have been bleached and are not particularly beautiful. It is recommended to go to the Green Island or Emerald Island in the inner reef to play on your own.
excellent activity. Snorkelled and saw beautiful corals and many fish around. Lunch buffet was good and we ate a lot after the first part of snorkeling. A final tip to you - must take seasick tablet before the cruise! About half of passengers onboard threw up in the journey!
It's a very fun experience. You can see fish even if you don't know how to swim. It's so spectacular and cute. There are prescription glasses you can rent, which is very convenient!
Excellent experience! Thr Great Barrier Reef is definitely worth going! Sunlovers boat was really nice compared to other boats. The guides to the SeaWalker and the Scuber Diving were excellent. We also had the best snorkeling experience !
the service was very good, clear instructions on how to use the snorkling equipment. had a really great time :)
This was an amazing trip that I was looking forward to beforehand, and it turned out to be a huge surprise in a good way. There were tons of fish, and you can see a lot just by snorkeling. Even my wife, who's afraid of the water, had a great time doing the underwater sea walk. It's worth it.
There are attentive instructors and staff on board in various languages! There are many activities to participate in, which are well worth the price! ! Lunch is also very good
Redeem your ticket at the pier yourself, and then take the boat. If you haven't purchased any additional items, it's just snorkeling and riding the submarine. You can see fish even if you can't swim.
