Yogyakarta Day trips

The Borobudur tour was quite the experience! Our guide Trisno (not sure if that's the correct name) enlightened us with the history and philosophy of the temple. Prambanan was also good, we did not have enough money for a tour guide. Also, our drivers Sulis and Adit were very friendly

It was my first time doing either and/or both the activities. trying not to fall while walking on the slippery mud was quite interesting. tubing on a current of water was quite fun. but apart from all this, Eza, our driver, was fun and friendly and always helpful. He said yes to everything we asled for. He even took us to the Kopi Luwak place even though that wasn’t on the itinerary.

Wow! an experience like I have never imagined!!! so the day started with waking up at 6:30 and getting picked up by our lovely driver. the drive was about 1.5hours to the first location ( Jomblong Cave) so you have some time to nap, however roads aren’t smooth about an hour in so get ready for a bumpy ride. we settled in for about 40mins, drank lovely tea and changed into the boots and helmet. Be sure to bring some long socks so the mud doesn’t go to your feet! and wear light clothes as it gets sooo hot there (may depend on weather) we explored the cave and took the best photos ever. then made our way back up and had some beautiful dishes (small portion for me though) we then went to do the river tubing and that was even better. make sure to wear swimming clothes as you get so many opportunities to swim and even jump into the water. I Will never forget this day 100% worth it

Had a smooth sailing trip to both Borobudur and Prambanan Temple thanks to our guide AG. He was really attentive at accommodating to our needs and made sure we were comfortable. He also recommended a few eating spots and helped us out when we needed some other tour arrangements.

The driver Rong was very kind and informative. the place he brought us for lunch was also good.

My husband and I always dreamed of visiting the Borobudur and Prambanan temples and they are more majestic in person than in pictures. The van we were in is clean and smelled good. Ray our guide is a skilled, professional, and a pleasant guide. I highly recommend this tour.

The most important thing when visiting a World Heritage site is the tour guide's knowledge, but unfortunately, the guide we encountered gave very brief introductions and spent more time taking pictures. We were envious seeing other groups getting thorough guided tours. If you sign up to watch the sunrise at the temple, the tour ends at 9 am, not the scheduled 1 pm, but the driver will recommend additional paid excursions. For this tour, breakfast is eaten on the ground level inside the temple, but if you book the temple tour directly, you'll be taken to a high point overlooking the temple for breakfast, which is much more beautiful.

My driver Noor is a really nice guy. He introduced the history of the temples on our way there and scheduled every step quite efficiently. Although the pre-sale performance tickets were sold out previous, Noor helped achieve the on-site ticket for me. I'm satisfied with this trip.

Our driver Juna was absolutely fantastic! His driving skills are excellent, rides were super smooth and steady the whole time. He took great care of us throughout every step of our trip and was really thoughtful. Timang Beach is breathtakingly beautiful, and the cave attraction is totally worth visiting. We had such a wonderful, enjoyable journey from start to finish. Highly recommend
