The tour of Borobudur and Prambanan temples was thoroughly satisfying. Although the government entrance fees are high, the preservation, restoration, and maintenance efforts are befitting of a World Heritage site. The park transportation and the detailed explanations from the guides made it well worth the cost. PRAS, who explained Borobudur, was fluent in Japanese and shared stories about visits from the Imperial Family and how JICA, with Japanese ODA, helped with the site's development. His explanations of the history and reliefs were also excellent. For lunch, we ate at a delicious restaurant on the way to Prambanan. The daytime temperatures were high, and we were quite tired after Borobudur in the morning, so we only visited the main areas of Prambanan. Our driver, Romy, was a friendly young man who loved Japanese anime and kept us entertained with engaging conversation during the long journey. He was also skilled at photography and took some great pictures for us. This tour comes highly recommended.

It was a great experience. It was dry season in September so Jomblang Cave wasn't as muddy as expected. The view was stunning and surreal. The staff were patient and dedicated to keep us safe and helped us take many nice photos. After lunch, the journey at Pindul Cave was as enjoyable. Despite me unable to swim, I felt safe while floating down to river on the tube. You can see that the guide was dedicated to bring the best experience.

it's considerably more expensive than if you were to organize yourself, BUT, I think it's worth it. My driver Adit was very helpful, and punctual. He also very friendly and provided me with a lot of information. The trip was smooth, he helped handle all the tickets, processes. The car was spacious , clean and had bottled water and tissue ready. I got to cover 2 temple complexes within a morning. I would recommend to someone wanting to travel without fuse, save energy for exploring and wants something time-efficient and safe.

Arrangement for pick up was well communicated the day before and agency clearly addressed the additional questions we had on the medium & long route upgrade. Driver was also punctual to pick us up from hotel and handed us over to the jeep driver (also guide). The sunrise view at the bunker honestly wasn’t the best compared to other sunrise I’ve caught in Indo, but the close up view of Merapi when sun is up is truly breathtaking, and the coolness in the morning is a plus. The guide was very friendly and helpful, but with English not being his first language, explanations regarding the eruptions etc. at the various stops became repetitive - not complaining, just sharing. Got to interact with some owls at one of the stops which was a surprise bonus for an animal lover myself!! We upgraded to long route and trip started at 4am and we reached back hotel around 9am. Bring a jacket if you’re afraid of cold; the wind against your skin on the jeep ride in the morn can be chilling.

Naging maayos ang lahat. Sinundo kami ng aming driver na si Romy sa aming hotel sa tamang oras. Parehong nakipag-ugnayan sa amin ang provider at si Romy nang maaga tungkol sa aming tour at itinerary. Si Romy ay palakaibigan, nagbigay ng maraming impormasyon at binigyan kami ng napakagandang karanasan! Marami kaming natutunan mula sa aming Borobudur tour, sa tulong ni Mr. Mura na maraming alam tungkol sa kasaysayan at mitolohiya 😅 Ang aming buong itinerary ay tumagal ng 6 na oras, kasama na ang oras ng biyahe. Sa pangkalahatan, isang napakagandang karanasan. Tiyak na magbu-book ulit kami kung babalik kami sa Jogja! 💯

Our guide, Dian, was truly amazing! We hit it off right away. He answered our questions without hesitation and guided us very well along the routes, even when he wasn't present during the actual visits. He didn't hesitate to introduce us to little extra sights and let us taste local products. The places he recommended for breakfast and lunch were fantastic! As for the itinerary: we couldn't enjoy the sunrise because of the clouds, but the setting was still quite pretty and relaxing. Regarding the Borobudur Temple, everything was very well organized, complete with a guide. The site is beautiful! As for the second Hindu temple, we couldn't see everything because we only had 2 hours, but the site is very large and we were approached by charming students on numerous occasions! The temples are magnificent. During the trip, water was handed out to us several times, and there was air conditioning in the car. Thank you, Dian!

The Borobudur sunrise tour was truly amazing, and our guide Wahyu made it even better -he arrived an hour early, kept perfect time, and gave insightful explanations throughout. ***Now about the Borobudur: The temple itself is breathtaking, though we were a bit disappointed to see some visitors sitting on the ancient structure despite the guide clearly stating it's not allowed. Given that it's a UNESCO-protected site, we feel more staff should be stationed at the top to gently enforce these simple rules. Also, the free time felt quite rushed one hour wasn't quite enough to fully take in the grandeur of the place.

I was initially hesitant about spending money on this tour, as it wasn't cheap. However, after watching the show, my only regret was not booking it sooner, because the performance was truly spectacular; even my 11-year-old child thoroughly enjoyed it. The reason I regret not booking earlier is that we booked too late, which meant we couldn't have dinner inside the park. This was the most regrettable part; I believe dining with a view of the temple within the park would have made the trip even better. Nevertheless, the tour guide did their best to make our trip perfect, and we had a great time exploring the park. I highly recommend it to anyone considering going, but definitely book early.

I had a wonderful experience with Thoriq at Prambanan Temple. He was very flexible and always adjusted the itinerary and timing to my preferences. He also explained about the temple beforehand in the car, which made the visit even more enjoyable. He was genuinely kind, thoughtful, and friendly throughout the trip. Although I explored the temple on my own, the meeting arrangements were clear and I could enjoy the temple at my own pace. Prambanan Temple was absolutely beautiful, and I really enjoyed it from before sunset through to the sunset itself. When I asked for a restaurant recommendation, he kindly suggested a great place and even drove me there afterward. I really appreciated his kindness and flexibility, and I would definitely recommend him to anyone visiting Prambanan!
