Things to do in National Museum of Marine Science and Technology

The Heping Island Ocean Park combines rich marine ecological exhibits with interactive experiences, making it a popular destination for families. Parking fees are an additional $50 per single entry. There are dining areas throughout the museum where you can bring your own food, or you can purchase food from the museum's restaurants or stalls! The museum offers a lot, including a schedule of activities you can participate in. The children had a great time, and we recommend allocating about 4-5 hours for your visit!

Highly recommend this museum for just about anyone. Great price for adults and free for seniors (65+) and elementary school kids. There are six floors of interactive exhibits for all ages AND virtually all of them are also in English. The IMAX film (~17 minutes) was also great! I went on a Tuesday with half of the elementary schools in the city so just a heads up as there were kids everywhere (loud and running around). Eat before or after as not many options and not good. Could easily spend all day there. Water refills stations and bathrooms throughout and exhibits were well done.

I just joined the tour today and my guide is Isabella. She is really and keen to help me took photos as I joined trip alone. Also have funny humor and she gave me and other guy a gift as our birthday aswell!!! if you don’t want to waste time for waiting for a bus or checking this tour is really nice to consider about it. Time in places might be a little short like 1 hr but still fine to see all tourists spots

On August 22nd, I visited Taipei and took the opportunity to sign up for the Klook Keelung Islet tour, which I'd wanted to do for a long time. I chose the Julong fleet based on a hunch, and their boat was grand, luxurious, and comfortable. On a hot day, we could continuously get ice-cold bottled water. The best part was our guide that day, Sister Xiaorou, who was incredibly nice. She gave a detailed and humorous introduction to Keelung Islet. During our hike, she also acted as a professional photographer, even helping us find special spots for beautiful photos. Through our casual chats, we learned she's a timeless beauty, which left us all amazed. Plus, it was a sunny day on Keelung Islet, so every photo we took captured a beautiful landscape. It's definitely worth a visit!

Attended the sunrise tour with friends. The scenery was beautiful, and the crew and captain were very enthusiastic. The catch depends on luck; it's mainly about the fishing experience. The only minor drawback was that the fishing spots were a bit crowded, making it easy for lines to get tangled with neighbors. Overall, I found it very fun and highly recommend it.

After confirming on-site, you can purchase and use it directly, ensuring you won't choose the wrong facility to experience. It's super convenient and even includes a bonus yachting activity. The tea experience, is a very new and interesting for me. I enjoy the ambiance, the tea set ( tea, salty and sweet treats, and the fresh fruits), together with the wearing of their traditional costume. The weather is also giving the experience extra because its little bit rainy and it’s perfect with the warm of the tea. Big thanks with the owner she was very pretty and hands on. With the service, taking our photo and dressing me up. 10/10
