Jiufen Old Street Taiwan Tea Experience (Including Indigenous Clothing Experience)

I really love the local vibe of this shop. I enjoyed sipping tea while wearing beautiful traditional clothes. The staff were incredibly lovely, friendly, and always smiling. They took great care of me. There were also cute cats, and the desserts were delicious, with a lovely tea aroma. The tea itself tasted wonderful. I wasn't feeling well, but after a few sips of tea, I felt much better. The shop's atmosphere is warm, clean, and very comforting. I definitely want to go back again! 💖🫶🏻🍵😍🥰

had such a wonderful experience at this tea house! The host was incredibly kind and accommodating—she made sure I had everything I needed and went out of her way to assist me throughout my visit. The location is perfect, making it very convenient to explore the area. One of the highlights was being able to try on traditional local clothes, which made the experience even more special. She also kindly helped me take some beautiful photos, which I truly appreciated. Her warmth and hospitality made my visit unforgettable. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting!

We had a great time and would highly recommend. The only slight negatives were that we had expected tea ceremony and not beer and plum wine (which were very good!). Also we booked it as part of a tour for 2 on Klook but for some bizarre reason Klook only booked this for one of us! The teahouse was very good about but Klook need to sort their system out. Finally, small advice to Sunrise Teahouse is to get a Facebook page so we can tag on all the post of your great plavce!

This is the most enjoyable tea drinking experience in my life. Good view, delicious aromatic tea, not bitter at all. The snacks prepared are also delicious, everything is delicious. The shop is not crowded, very private, I feel that what I got is worth the money. The staff are very cute. There are Chinese and foreigners to choose from. We chose a Chinese person named 柔柔, very cute, very friendly. I understand a little Chinese, so he tried to speak slowly, with simple words that I could understand. I recommend anyone who wants to go and drink tea in Jiufen to try it. The shop is a bit deep inside.

since the weather wasnt very good, this was the best thing to do without getting wet. the view was amazing, the stuff was helpful. the place itself makes you relaxed and chill while you drink tea and watch the view.plus tea is high quality.

The first steep is a bit green, like a just awakened morning. The second steep begins to have a sweet aftertaste, the flavor slowly spreading on the tip of the tongue, like the sea after the fog clears. The third steep is no longer just the taste of tea, it's the mountain breeze, the wood, the air of Jiufen. At that moment, I suddenly felt that— Life isn't always about rushing forward. Sometimes stopping and drinking a cup of tea completely is also a kind of high-level romance. The slopes of Jiufen are steep, But the tea is warm.

Hank Lin was amazing. Very heavy rain and we still had a great time. It was warm, friendly, and very hospitable. We had a great time.

it’s a cute tea and wine place. friendly staff and great service. if you like cats, they have two little kittens on site and you can pet them all you want.

Wearing the beautiful indigenous traditional clothing made the experience even more special. It was a wonderful opportunity to appreciate and respectfully experience Taiwan’s cultural heritage while taking memorable photos in the charming atmosphere of Jiufen. Overall, everything was well-organized, authentic, and enjoyable. We highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Jiufen who wants to immerse themselves in Taiwan’s culture beyond just exploring the Old Street. It was a unique and unforgettable part of our trip that we will always remember.
