Fantastic 5.0
Gorgeous sunny day out for this Mt Rainier National Park trip. The driver, also our guide, was helpful and safely took us to see the highlights of the park, including the waterfalls and Reflection Lakes with still some time for short hikes. We are lucky to see Mt Rainier, still an active volcano covered by snow, clearly on this beautiful day.

Fantastic 5.0
I joined a Klook day tour (the easiest option for solo travelers) to Leavenworth, a German-themed town about a 2-hour drive east of Seattle. On the way, we stopped at Snoqualmie Falls, a very tall waterfall, over 80 meters high. Even from a distance at the observation deck, I could still feel the mist from the falls. Later, on the way out, not long after we started driving, we encountered a herd of wild elk – probably more than I saw last week at Yellowstone National Park! Our guide even stopped the car so we could get out and take pictures, which was incredibly lucky! Leavenworth instantly made me feel like I was in Europe (even though there was a large group of Americans around). Since I couldn't possibly eat a whole pork knuckle by myself, I just ordered some German sausage.

Fantastic 5.0
Driving from Seattle to Vancouver takes about 2 hours, so joining a day tour is really simple and convenient! You can unlock all the highlights in just one day, including Granville Island, Gastown Steam Clock, Canada Place, and Stanley Park. These pretty much cover all the must-see, classic attractions!

Fantastic 5.0
It's also nice to take a leisurely stroll over from Pike Place Market. Arriving early to browse the souvenir shops a million times XD and then entering with the voucher! Very convenient. It was really interesting how the elevator narrator took precisely about 44 seconds to finish their spiel right as the elevator arrived. The scenery is beautiful. A fantastic experience! Don't forget there are also plenty of great walking and photo spots in the surrounding area 👍

What to know before visiting Seattle

What to do in Seattle year‑round

Seattle’s bestselling experiences on Klook centre on attraction passes, observation decks and a mix of tours and cruises, with zoos & aquariums also popular — these categories shape how travellers pace a visit across the year. Demand peaks in August and dips in December, so expect the city to feel busiest around summer events and quieter in late autumn and early winter. Based on Klook booking data, plan whether you want summer atmosphere or off‑peak calm: choose summer for the festival buzz, or pick winter for smaller crowds. All figures here are from Klook booking data.

Best months to visit and price trends

August is Seattle’s busiest month on Klook, while December shows the largest drop in bookings; prices reach their high in August and fall to a low in January. The two series move together through the summer—higher demand in July–September coincides with higher median prices—then diverge into the winter when demand is lower but prices remain steadier through November–December before softening in January. For fewer crowds and lower typical prices, consider travelling in January; for peak‑season atmosphere, aim for July–August.

Month Demand Level Typical Price
January About average AUD 142
February Quieter than usual AUD 158
March About average AUD 161
April Quieter than usual AUD 161
May About average AUD 161
June Busier than usual AUD 161
July Busier than usual AUD 145
August Peak demand AUD 166
September Busier than usual AUD 160
October About average AUD 155
November About average AUD 155
December Quieter than usual AUD 155

Demand is bookings in that month compared with a typical month, from historical Klook booking data, grouped into the demand levels above; typical price is the median paid on Klook in that month; prices are shown with their currency code. Based on Klook booking data, July 2025 – June 2026.

Tips for travellers from Australia

Most travellers from Australia book quite close to travel time — typically around 1 day ahead — so you can stay flexible with plans. A minority plan earlier, booking up to about 8 days out, and during the peak months of July–August it’s wise to lock popular experiences sooner rather than later. Use Klook to compare attraction passes, observation decks and tours, and secure the seasonal options you want while keeping the rest of your trip loose — Klook booking data shows where demand and prices shift through the year, so pick peak months for atmosphere or quieter months for lower typical prices.
