Fantastic 5.0
There's a shuttle bus directly to the Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal, and the ride takes about 15-20 minutes. The basement to the 3rd floor is a shopping mall with a food court, restaurants, and a department store (which includes a supermarket). However, there are no convenience stores nearby, and it's quite a distance from other resorts (about two blocks away), so getting hungry at night could be a bit inconvenient. The room is fully equipped with bottled water, an electric kettle, an Illy coffee capsule machine, USB ports, and universal power outlets. The bathroom has slippers, shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel, so you don't need to bring your own. The room faces Macau Airport, and I was initially worried about noise, but I didn't hear any airplane noise at all. However, the soundproofing of the room door is not great; you can hear people talking loudly in the hallway. Also, upon check-in, I needed to provide the hotel booking code to the front desk, which was not the Klook order number or supplier number. Because Klook did not provide me with the hotel booking code after I made the reservation, there was an issue with the check-in process that day, and I had to immediately call Klook customer service through the front desk to get the number.

The hotel is clean and tidy. There were World Cup activities inside, and the children had a great time. There was also an exhibition, live World Cup broadcasts, and the mall had many restaurants and shops for guests to enjoy.

Fantastic 5.0
Harbourview Macau is one of the best places to stay in Macau! The hotel is beautiful, with elegant rooms that are spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The staff were warm, professional, and always willing to help. The location is convenient, making it easy to visit major attractions while still enjoying a peaceful atmosphere. The facilities were excellent, and everything exceeded my expectations. I had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommended!

Fantastic 5.0
At the reception area, Tommy Yang assisted us and offered a room upgrade for a minimal fee. He was very accomodating and even offered helpful suggestions for our DIY tour. He also gave us complimentary access to 37th floor of the Eiffel Tower as complimentary for our room upgrade. The rooms are big and clean. I love that there is a shower room, separate cr, bathtub. You can consume all the contents of the refrigerator and the cabinets for free. Request for water was accommodated promptly, and unlimited. I also love that there is a foot massager, which you can use after a tiring day out. The bed is super comfy. I'll definitely book here again next time I visit Macau. If you want a staycation, I highly recommend this hotel. Easy access to different boutiques, and even and just fee minutes walk to The Londoner and The Venetian. Free shuttle ride too.Cons: no bidet and no free breakfast. But you can order in-house or go to the le petit for breakfast which serves breakfast up until 1pm.

Fantastic 5.0
our family choose to stay here, because you can cross directly to galaxy. friendly staff, the donwside only the shuttle service earliest 10am, should have early schedule which can help other guest who's flight is early. they don't provide extra bed even if you tell them you are willing to pay which can cause family group tourist to reconsider booking to this hotel again

Fantastic 5.0
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Sofitel Macau At Ponte 16, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. If you are looking for a hotel that combines refined luxury with genuine, heartfelt service, this is the place to be. The staff truly sets this property apart. Every team member we encountered was incredibly accommodating, professional, and proactive in their assistance. Whether it was navigating local recommendations or handling our requests with speed and grace, they went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and stress-free. A special thank you to the team for the wonderful small gift waiting for us in our room! It was such a delightful and thoughtful surprise that elevated our experience and made our arrival feel extra special. The attention to detail throughout the property is remarkable. We had a fantastic time and will definitely return!

We highly recommend this hotel. The staff are very accommodating and friendly. We would also like to commend Mr. Ben for assisting us very well and ensuring our comfort during our stay at the hotel. We truly enjoyed celebrating and spending our birthday as a couple at your hotel. My partner and I are very happy with your service. We will definitely recommend your hotel to our friends. Thank you!

Fantastic 5.0
The room was clean and tidy, and the location was excellent. Staying in the center of Macau, it was very convenient to get around on foot or by bus. However, when I asked for ice at night, the staff said there was no ice and that I would have to wait several hours for the ice machine to make more, which seemed a bit unreasonable.

More about Macau hotels

What staying in Macau feels like

Staying in Macau presents a noticeable price spread: the priciest rooms are roughly 2.6 times the cost of the most affordable ones, so you can stretch your budget or upgrade significantly without changing city. The best balance of value tends to be in the premium tier, which typically gives the most sensible trade-off between comfort and cost.

How the four hotel classes compare and who they suit

Economy rooms sit at the low end and are markedly cheaper than the tiers above, making them a choice for travellers prioritising budget over extras. Standard rooms step up modestly from economy and suit those who want a bit more comfort without a large price jump. The premium tier represents the sweet spot for many visitors, offering noticeably better value than standard and anchoring the market here. The biggest step is from premium to luxury: moving up to luxury is the largest price leap, so choose that only if an upscale experience is a priority.

When travellers from Australia usually book

Macau’s cheapest month by typical rates is March and the priciest is August; if you’re travelling on a budget, plan for March when nightly rates tend to be lower. Travellers from Australia typically book around 12 days ahead on average, so you can often stay flexible but should consider reserving earlier in August when rates climb.
