Things to do in Taichung

It would have been quite difficult to go on my own, so I'm glad I booked a tour. Luckily, I was even able to see a sea of clouds from the car during the trip. Our guide, Li, was very kind and the tour was easy to understand. She also took a lot of pictures for us. I was with my elderly mother, but she was helpful with adjusting the pace and taking breaks. A private tour for two people is quite expensive. However, it's worth it because you can adjust the time and content, and you don't have to worry about other participants. We were able to return earlier than planned, so we got back to Taipei early and were able to spend the rest of the time relaxing.

Klook offers discounted tickets for 1 adult and 1 child at $1315, which is cheaper than buying tickets on-site and includes a bonus Starbucks coupon. During the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, I took my child to Mala Bay for the first time. I recommend starting with the Lazy River and the inflatable water park (life jackets required for both adults and children). The double-rider waterslide at Abu Bay is also fun and exciting.

The venue is large, with many new facilities, making it great for kids and teenagers to burn off energy. It's also a good option for rainy days, and the overall value is pretty good. However, it gets crowded on weekends, and some areas have long lines. The snow and ice area requires an extra fee. It might not be suitable for people who don't like noise or prefer a relaxed itinerary.

We truly enjoyed our visit to Taichung Natural Science Museum with our son. The interactive exhibits were fun, educational, and perfect for kids. A great place for family bonding and learning together

I didn't expect to see a professional circus in Taiwan! The price is really reasonable! There wasn't a dull moment, time flew by! Afterwards, we watched the dreamy bubble magic show! The bubble princess was so beautiful, and the performance was humorous and fun, making both adults and children laugh and interact and dance together! Highly recommended.

Purchasing Klook tickets is more advantageous than buying them on-site. The environment is clean, the water quality is good, and the hot spring quality is excellent. The nude hot springs are separated for men and women and have pools of different temperatures, as well as spa, steam room, and sauna facilities. After soaking in the hot springs, we had lunch at the Hanami Western Restaurant. Although there aren't many food options, the food is all very fresh. There's no need to jostle with crowds to get food, and the service attitude is very friendly. Highly recommended.

The toll booth signal was good this time, so I was able to use the Q code to redeem my ticket. I still recommend taking a screenshot before heading up the mountain just in case. Online ticket purchases include free parking. There are many trails to choose from, and staying in the cabins is a lot of fun. There are currently no shops, so remember to bring plenty of food.
