Hobart Day trips

My Bruny Island experience with Tassie Tours was absolutely outstanding, and a huge part of that was thanks to Andrew, our guide for the day. His energy, knowledge, and genuine enthusiasm for the island made the tour feel personal and unforgettable. What really set this tour apart were all the extra sightings and bonus stops Andrew added along the way. He has an incredible eye — he spotted white wallabies long before anyone else noticed them, and pointed out the most colourful mushrooms tucked away in the forest. These little discoveries made the day feel magical and gave us moments we never would’ve found on our own. The pacing of the tour was perfect, the commentary was engaging, and Andrew made sure everyone had time to enjoy each stop without feeling rushed. His passion for Bruny Island and its wildlife truly elevated the whole experience. A brilliant day from start to finish. Five stars for Tassie Tours and an extra five for Andrew. Highly recommended.

The tour guide was excellent, telling us a lot about the animals and plants. Even though I don't understand a single word of English, it didn't stop me from enjoying the trip and appreciating the guide's dedicated work ethic! Highly recommend!

We had such a wonderful and memorable trip to Bruny Island! 🥰🌿 A big thank you to Jimmy from Bruny Island Safaris for making our tour so smooth, fun, and enjoyable. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and shared so much interesting information about Tasmania along the way. He took us to beautiful places, and every stop made the experience even more special. We truly enjoyed every moment of the trip and created beautiful memories to take home with us. Highly recommend Bruny Island Safaris, especially with Jimmy as your tour guide! Thank you for such an amazing experience! ❤️✨️

Absolutely beautiful and breathtaking! The views were amazing, with stunning mountains, forests, and views of Hobart. The fresh, cool air made it even more special ❣️

I had such a great time! Well paced, great scenery, a good workout for all ages and best of all a really friendly, knowledgeable and sincere guide who also skilfully drove us around. Loved all his stories and jokes. Never had such a pleasant tour, nothing to complain about. Pack warm clothes!

A very well organized tour. Got to see a lot of Hobart and surrounding areas. Rob was a wonderful and knowledgeable tour guide, just enough information without being overwhelming and an excellent driver !

We really enjoyed our tour. Port arthur’s history was really interesting. UNESCO preserved the place really well even when it was burned years ago. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and was kind to drop us off to the airport. highly recommended ❤️

I booked this one-day tour covering Port Arthur, the Eaglehawk Neck Dog Line, and Richmond. The experience far exceeded my expectations! Our guide, MAX, was incredibly attentive. He elaborated on the colonial history and convict stories behind every landmark, bringing those historical facts to life in an engaging and easy-to-understand way. Along the journey, he pointed out wildlife, and we were lucky enough to spot wombat footprints. He also shared many interesting local, lesser-known facts. MAX is polite, gentlemanly, and the tour pace was perfectly relaxed without any rushed schedule. I highly recommend this guided tour for anyone eager to explore the history of Southern Tasmania!

This was a fun day tour, and I definitely have to give 10 likes to our tour guide, Tammy! She was witty and energetic, bringing us so much joy and a deep understanding of the area. The view of Wineglass Bay was incredibly special and beautiful. This tour does require a bit of hiking, but it's absolutely worth it.
