The sights were gorgeous! I wished we had more time at Cape Kamui and less at Otaru. Our guide Oscar was just okay in his tour commentary, but he was very competent in coordinating the large tour group and ensuring that everyone was punctual, so I appreciate that.

Thank you for signing up for this meaningful trip. This journey allowed me to see many mountains and seas, and I can only admire Hokkaido's excellent ecological preservation. I saw so many beautiful sights in my lifetime. Hide diligently introduced the characteristics of each attraction throughout the trip and perfectly managed the time for each stop. Otherwise, we wouldn't have been able to visit so many places today. I also want to thank the other travelers for their patience, as the fifth stop, Cape Kamui, involved a longer walk than expected. Although Hide gave us plenty of time, I was the last one back to the car, exceeding the meeting time by five minutes. On the way back, Hide even shared recommendations for Sapporo's local cuisine, which was exactly what I was hoping for.

This tour was really nice : we explored a lot by ourselves but had explanations and infos beforehand. The guide was mostly near the bus so easy to find. The driver was really nice as well. It was a bit difficult though to get to Cape Kamui so early in the morning (especially after the 2 hour ride which had breaks, dont worry) and maybe having a bit more time would allow to get to the end. We stopped in Otaru for the canal and also to eat lunch and do some shopping- I got a bit lost but it was fine, there wasn’t much. I already went to Shiroi Kobito Park so it wasn’t much of anything new for me - but this time it was quite busy so a bit harder to wander around and come back in time. But overall it was a great tour- I really recommend EasyGoJapan (I believe they were the ones who organised this tour)- they are always great on transport and guides and itineraries and very easy to find as well. Everyone I met on those tours were so nice - the guides, the other tourists and the bus driver.

Our tour guide, Sister Rourou, is beautiful and kind-hearted. The itinerary was perfectly arranged, balanced, and she was very responsible, making for an excellent experience! On the bus, she introduced us to the background and features of the attractions, showed us local Ezo deer we encountered and tulips blooming along the road, pointed out the beautiful snow-capped mountains to our friends from tropical regions, and reminded us to enjoy the Sea of Japan scenery along the way. She even woke us up before we arrived at each attraction, which was very thoughtful! The one-day trip allowed us to experience the essence of Otaru and its surrounding attractions. We saw the spectacular cliffs against the Sea of Japan at Cape Kamui; learned about the birth of Japanese whisky at the Yoichi Distillery; visited the filming locations for 'Love Letter' and 'First Love,' Temiya Park and Mount Tengu. At Temiya Park, we saw late-blooming cherry blossoms, with the cherry trees complementing the distant sea view. At sunset, we overlooked the city of Otaru from the summit of Mount Tengu. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't ideal today, with heavy fog. Walking through the Tengu Shrine in the misty fog had a unique charm. We wish Sister Rourou success in her career and studies, and abundant prosperity ✌️.

I've taken day tours in various Japanese cities, and this one is definitely my number one! Our guide, Cindy, was very dedicated in her explanations, and her time management was excellent. The travel time between attractions was about 45 minutes (the tour bus was also very comfortable), and we had enough (and just the right amount of) time to experience each site. The itinerary was packed and very fulfilling. I didn't have high expectations for the meal, but the travel agency truly put thought into it; the seafood rice for lunch was a pleasant surprise, just as good as (or even better than) what you'd find at a seafood market. The tour fee might seem a bit high, but it's absolutely worth the money. This tour comes highly recommended!

Booking the Cape Kamui day tour through Klook this time was a very smooth overall experience. The meeting point was clear, and I received detailed notifications before departure, which was very reassuring. The tour guide's performance was particularly outstanding. They were able to switch languages to explain things to passengers of different nationalities on the bus. The English explanations were clear, easy to understand, and rich in content without being boring, catering to the needs of various travelers. The scenery at Cape Kamui was even more stunning than expected. The ocean color was incredibly beautiful, and the views along the way were also very picturesque. It is definitely one of Hokkaido's must-visit attractions. The driver drove smoothly, and the itinerary was well-arranged. There was ample time to visit and take photos at each attraction, making the entire trip feel relaxed and comfortable. Thanks to the thoughtful service of the tour guide and driver, this trip was even more enjoyable. If you're traveling to Hokkaido, I highly recommend booking this Cape Kamui day tour through Klook!

Our tour guide, Habi, was very professional and attentive. At each attraction, he provided detailed explanations and related stories, and managed our time effectively. The sea urchin in Shakotan was incredibly delicious, and the botan shrimp were super fresh, caught that very day. Absolutely fantastic! 👍👍👍👍👍
