Fantastic 5.0
Mainly booked this tour because I wanted to visit Cape Kamui, which is not easy to reach by public transport. Seeing the famous Shakotan Blue on a clear day was absolutely worth the price and the long journey. The added bonus was getting to see the Shakotan Coast, visit Otaru, and stop at Shiroi Koibito Park all in the same day. As expected, the schedule was quite tight, but this is understandable given the long distances we had to cover and the number of places included in the itinerary. Our guide, Cici, was pleasant and helpful. However, I felt the tour could have been more informative. She provided translations in Japanese and Chinese and read the English descriptions from her notes, but there wasn't much additional interesting information or storytelling about the places we visited. A little more background, local history, or interesting facts would have made the experience more engaging.

We really enjoyed the trip to Hell Valley, Lake Toya and Otaru. Our tour guide is very nice, professional, and thoughtful. He explained the history of Hokkaido and every scenic spots in detail . we booked three tours via klook. We got to say that compared to other tour guides in other tour group, this tour guide has excellent language skills in English, Chinese and Japanese. And we also noticed that during our trip only one visitor from Spain needed to have English interpretation. In order not to disturb other visitors, he walked to the back row,sat with him and interpreted for him. Other things which impressed us a lot are a variety of music boxes and steaming Hell Vally. By the way, we will definitely come back to Hokkaido in the winter again.

Take the Ropeway gondola up Mount Tenguyama for a top view of Otaru city and the beautiful sea. You can exchange your QR code for a physical ticket at the counter and also receive a free postcard and a 10% discount at Tenguu Cafe. At the top, there's a Chipmunk Garden, Tengu Shrine, and other activities to enjoy.

Fantastic 5.0
We were blessed to have Rick as our tour guide. He is very knowledgeable and speaks English, Chinese and Japanese fluently. The itinerary was well planned, and we had so much fun today. We also had an excellent driver, which made it easy to relax and rest on the bus between stops. If you’re climbing Cape Kamui, do wear comfortable shoes. It’s quite a climb, but the views are absolutely worth it. Highly recommend this tour, especially for first-time visitors to Hokkaido!

Fantastic 5.0
We stayed here for 2 nights with my mom during our Hokkaido parent-child trip on October 2, 2026. The location is super convenient, right across from JR Otaru Station and the Otaru bus terminal, making it extremely easy to travel to Sapporo or visit Otaru attractions like Mount Tengu, the aquarium, and Sankaku Market. The beds and pillows at the hotel are amazingly comfortable—especially the pillows, which were so good I actually wanted to buy one to take home! The water pressure in the bathroom is strong, the hot water is very hot, and there is a bidet toilet. There is a free coffee machine in the lobby, and free ramen is served at night. There is a large supermarket right across the street which is great for shopping, and in early October we were even able to buy delicious peaches, which made my mom so happy!

Fantastic 5.0
The room is small but well-designed. The hotel's proximity to a FamilyMart convenience store is very convenient. Upon check-in, the hotel parking lot was full, so we parked in the adjacent FamilyMart parking lot. The parking fees are as shown in the picture, which you can refer to. The accommodation is about a ten-minute walk from the canal and 15-20 minutes from the old street, both of which are quite convenient.
