Taipei Performing Arts Center

August 23, 2026 (Sunday) Two years ago, when we visited, it was a sunny day. Today, the weather was very cool, with a light drizzle. However, because of the rain, the roller coaster was temporarily closed, which was a shame because we didn't get to ride it. We rode the Jungle Roar Treehouse (free fall), the pirate ship, the spinning teacups, the Galaxy Express (monorail), the Ferris wheel, the Happy Bumper Cars, and the Space Gyro. It was truly worth the price of admission! My most memorable experience was riding the pirate ship; it was actually very comfortable, and my daughter and I rode it twice. My son was glued to the sandbox and spent an hour and a half there. 😅 We didn't leave until it got dark (6:30 PM), and it was hard to say goodbye.

The Fun Pass is really useful and great. However, if you try to enjoy all these benefits within a short schedule, your trip might become too exhausting. So, I recommend comparing the monetary value of the benefits you'd get and then making your purchase. For attractions like Yehliu Geopark, Jinguashi, and the Shifen Sky Lantern experience, you might find it more effective to purchase a separate Fun Trip Yehliu-Shifen-Jiufen-Jinguashi (YES FOG JING) bus tour and use them together. Also, as a side note, I recommend adding the Funlab bag-making experience to your itinerary. It's surprisingly fun and provides a cool space for a short break. The wood glue they provide takes a long time to dry after attaching materials, so rather than rushing to sew, it's better to glue the pieces, put them in a plastic bag, carry them carefully, and by the next day, they should be completely dry. Using glue will save you a lot of time.

Kent was great! He was friendly, patient, and made the whole day really enjoyable. He also helped us take family photos at each stop and recommended some great local food for us to try, which we really appreciated. Everything was well organized, and we had a wonderful time.

It was really fun, and you can genuinely meet new people! The group I joined had a high proportion of women, and there were foreigners too. The first stop on the itinerary was Yuanshan to redeem a beer. It was quite bitter, and since I'm not a big fan of beer, I didn't really enjoy that first drink. Next, we visited two street-side bars in Xinyi. We redeemed a cocktail plus small snacks at one, and a cocktail plus a platter of fried food to share among a group of five at the other. Along the way, on the bus, with the wind blowing, enjoying the scenery, music, and hot dancing, even the most introverted person would be swept up in the atmosphere and join in the fun!

The experience was short, lasting about 10 minutes, but it was very fun and exciting to see the monsters fight up close. The special特典 (special bonus/item) wasn't ready yet, so I had to fill out my information to have it sent later. I hope this can be avoided in the future by better managing production times.

I think we started at 2pm from taipei terminal, so we went down to the historical place and spent most of the time there. Then after we checked the time on the guide and waited for the bus to take us back to the main station. I really liked that they were also explaining in english about the places we passed by. The best part during this trip was for me was that I get to enjoy the ride during sunset which gave us the perfect city view and we also saw the taipei 101 light up. :))

Spring City Resort This time, we used a Klook package that included one meal and a two-hour hot spring private room for 3,500 NTD. Upon arrival at the hotel entrance, a valet attendant will assist with parking, as guests are not permitted to drive down to the parking area themselves. It's good to be prepared to tip when leaving, to avoid an awkward moment with your wallet. Dinner was a fixed Japanese set menu with no other options available. Overall, it was decent. After eating, you can take a stroll around the area before returning to the hot springs. The pace of the itinerary felt quite relaxing. While the private hot spring room showed some signs of age and an older decor style, the room itself was spacious, and the bathing area was also roomy. The soundproofing of the main door was average, but since we visited on a weekday and there weren't many people, it wasn't a significant issue. What was rather perplexing was that shortly after we entered the room, a staff member knocked on the door and said our time was up. We were completely bewildered, thinking, "We just got in; did time fly by, or is our life being fast-forwarded?" The staff member later confirmed the mistake, apologized, and left, but this little incident was certainly a bit odd. Overall, although Spring City Resort's facilities and decor show their age, the service was generally acceptable, and the environment had a pleasant resort atmosphere. For 3,500 NTD for one meal and a two-hour private hot spring room, the value for money is still pretty good, making it a suitable place for a relaxing hot spring experience.

Really fun night out in Taipei, make sure to bring cash for some of the bars. We took a trip out for this for my partners birthday. The meeting point was easy to find and we ended up having some predrinks inside the 7-11 with some of the other tour participants. The guides made the trip giving us various shots as we made our way through several bars in Taipei. This trip was worth every dollar and quite a few of the participants made it to the club inside Taipei expo center. Thanks to all those that did this trip on the 19th of june 2026 you made our night

This was a last minute booking. Booked it on the way to Beitou. Redeemed it within 15 mins with no issues. Staff were very accommodating and the 90 mins for the bath were more than enough. Complimentary snacks and cold drinks as well. There’s a hot and cold plunge within the private room. Just take note that there’s an additional 300 NTD fee for weekend visits.
