Reviews summaryfirst time at this onsen. I thought that I had booked 3pm . instead I booked 3am instead. When we arrived , we were told that we already missed our appointment! They were very gracious to let us have our soaking private room session with no extra charges. Beautiful view and wonderful experience. will come back
Visiting Beitou Water House for a private bathhouse session was one of the most relaxing highlights of our Taipei trip. We originally walked in intending to purchase our tickets on-site, but the front desk staff was incredibly honest and helpful, suggesting that we book via Klook instead since it may be cheaper. We booked it on our phones right at the lobby, and the entire 90-minute experience was simply the best. The warm white sulfur soak did wonders for our tired muscles, helping us fully recover after logging over 20,000 steps each day of our trip. Between the therapeutic mineral water, sleek ambiance, and exceptional customer service, we will definitely be returning on our next visit to Taipei.
Went on Tuesday late morning and the whole place was not packed with people. Room was well maintained and clean. Enjoyed the dip and view from room.
Return visit after two years. As far as I recall, everything is the same except the baths do look two years older and the cold bath is no longer as cold. It used to be ~10 degrees (iirc) but it is now (estimated) 20-25 degrees (the thermometer has been removed). If you like being alone, I was the only customer past 6pm on a weekday. For the price, it is worth coming here for your first hot spring experience in Beitou but I’ll probably try a new hot spring for my next visit in the future. Good experience (:
It is my first time to take a bath in the hot spring Yutaki View Room. Whether it is the hardware of the room, the hot spring pool, the supplies, the design, the scenery, or the service, it is not only clean and comfortable, I highly recommend them all!!!
I used it on the last day of my trip at night. It was so nice to soak in the hot spring water before going to the airport. It was easy to find because it was close to Beitou Jichulgok. When you go to the front desk, they give you a bracelet and you can open the women's bathhouse door with it. You can open the locker door. There are large towels, water, and a hair cap in the locker. I was told to wash my hair and put on the hair cap before going in. Maybe that's why I didn't have any hair, but it was nice. The outside is not a glass window, but rather a footbath, so it feels a bit like an open-air hot spring. It's cool when the wind blows, and my skin feels soft. The water is so nice. There are sunbeds, so you can rest for a while. There aren't many people, so I enjoyed the hot spring in private. I want to take my mom next time.
I used the public bath and there are 3 pools (43, 40 and 24 degrees respectively). The area is semi- opened and therefore well ventilated. Changing room facilities are also modern and kept clean.
It was easy to find because it was close to Geothermal Valley. The staff was really friendly, and although I didn't speak Chinese, they personally translated it into Korean and made it easy to understand. The facilities were really clean and nice, and the hot springs were open to the outdoors, so it was really nice to enjoy the hot springs without feeling stuffy. The day I visited was a weekday, so we were able to enjoy it together like a private hot spring. If you want to enjoy a hot spring nearby after visiting Geothermal Valley, I recommend it.
The private onsen was amazing. Best highlights from our trip to taiwan. Staff was super nice, accommodating. Afternoon tea was delicious, all desserts are good. 5/5 Thank you Water House. Salamat!
Coming on a weekday morning gives you a chance to enjoy the public bath all to yourself. Having the sounds of insects and birds all to yourself is very relaxing.
