Things to do in Aso Farm Land

Kumamoto Castle is an architectural marvel, and I took many photos from different angles, each one showcasing intricate details. I was really looking forward to seeing the crater at Mount Aso, but unfortunately, it was under a red alert, so I could only view the volcano, spewing black smoke, from a distance. It started raining when I was at Kusasenri, which is a very relaxing place with endless green fields – very therapeutic. The horses there were very robust.

Super fuss free to book and redeem, just show the QR code at the counter. Would recommend this activity to families! It was really fun and my kids really enjoyed getting up close to the cute animals and feeding them. You will need to pay for the food to feed the animals (I think it was around 100yen for a small bucket and 300yen for a big bucket if I remember correctly). Do note this ticket is only for the animal feeding and not for the outdoor/indoor play areas that are separate.

The driver drove very smoothly, making the ride comfortable, and their service attitude was excellent. They guided us through every attraction, so we didn't have to worry about getting lost, and the itinerary was thoughtfully planned. Highly-recommended tour! The sites visited were very beautiful; it’s very good if you want to get some fresh air. It rained when we were in Takachicho Gorge but we still enjoyed the trip very much. Eichii-san is very knowledgeable and cares a lot about the guests. The driver Kimura-san is also very nice and patient.

Jimmy is warm and friendly, and very knowledgeable about the itinerary. The experience was great. Plus, a bonus photo of him running to get boat tickets!

Despite the rainy weather, our day trip to Mount Aso, Takachiho, and Kumano Shrine was a very good experience overall. Our guide, EIICHI, was incredibly dedicated, providing bilingual explanations and introductions throughout the journey, which allowed us to learn about local Japanese culture even on a day trip. He was also very friendly and thoughtful towards elderly travelers, constantly reminding them to be careful and suggesting places to rest. The overall atmosphere was very relaxed and comfortable, and we had ample time at each attraction to explore, look around, and take photos. The driver also drove safely and smoothly, making the ride comfortable enough to sleep without getting carsick.

Our itinerary for this trip was: starting from Tenjin city center ➡️ Itoshima Hana Shio Pudding ➡️ Meoto Iwa (Wedded Rocks) at Futamigaura ➡️ Tsukamoto Fish Market ➡️ Miyajidake Shrine ➡️ Munakata Shrine. The driver was very thoughtful! His service attitude was incredibly friendly! He even recommended a delicious seafood restaurant, which my family also thoroughly enjoyed 👍🏽 The car was clean and tidy, and the entire journey went smoothly and perfectly 💯
