What to expect

A one-day healing tour of Kyushu: Ride the Aso Boy, check out the “One Piece” bronze statues, visit “Hotarubi no Mori e”, and explore Kumamoto’s stunning volcanic secrets! 📍Aso Boy Train Experience This is no ordinary train! It’s a sightseeing train themed around the mascot, the black dog “Kuroemon”, with its cute image everywhere in the carriages. Panoramic seats paired with extra-large windows offer a full view of Mount Aso and the pastoral scenery. 📍Kamishikimi Kumanoza Shrine Start your beautiful day at [Kamishikimi Kumanoza Shrine]. The shrine is serene and mysterious, with giant ancient trees and moss-covered stone steps that seem to transport you through time. The light and shadow in the forest make for amazing photos! 📍Mount Aso Nakadake Crater Take a bus to [Mount Aso Nakadake Crater]. This is one of the world’s largest active volcanoes! Standing on the edge of the crater, watching the steaming smoke rise, and feeling the pulse of the earth is truly breathtaking! It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes, and remember to bring a jacket as the mountain wind can be strong. ⚠️ If the Aso crater is closed recently, the itinerary will be flexibly adjusted. Thank you for your understanding. 📍Kusasenri After descending from the volcano, you’ll arrive at the most healing place – [Kusasenri]. This is a vast green grassland where cows and horses graze leisurely, like a scene from a magazine. Whether it’s horseback riding or a leisurely stroll and photo session, it’s an excellent choice! On a clear day, the blue sky and green grass complement each other, making it so beautiful you won’t want to leave. 📍Kumamoto Castle Check out the magnificent Kumamoto Castle, feel the historical heritage of this century-old city, with its ancient walls paired with Japanese gardens, exuding a profound charm. Simultaneously, explore the adjacent Josaien, a one-stop shop for Kumamoto’s specialty foods and creative cultural shops. 📍Kurokawa Onsen In the evening, come to [Kurokawa Onsen] for a hot spring bath to end a perfect day. There are many open-air hot springs here, each hidden in nature. Soaking in the steaming spring water, gazing at the starry sky, will wash away all your fatigue. You can also try the “Onsen Hopping Pass” to visit several hot springs in one day, which is great value and fun! The itinerary varies, and the attractions visited differ. Please refer to the itinerary description. ⚠️ Travel Notice August 8th – August 16th is the Obon Festival travel peak in Japan, which may lead to traffic congestion, large crowds, attractions closing early, or itinerary adjustments. Please do not book dinner, flights, or Shinkansen on the same day, and it is recommended to bring a power bank. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!

Please do not book dinner, as you will not be able to catch a flight or Shinkansen on the same day. Pre-trip Notification • Please ensure that the communication app you provided can be used to contact you during your trip to Japan. We will contact you one day in advance. To ensure a smooth trip, please contact your guide or driver promptly. Thank you. • If the number of participants does not meet the minimum group size, you will be notified of cancellation by email one day before departure. In case of extreme weather such as typhoons or blizzards, cancellation will be confirmed by 6:00 PM local time one day before departure and notified by email. Seating and Vehicles • The itinerary is a shared tour, and seat allocation follows a first-come, first-served principle. If you have special requests, please note them, and we will do our best to arrange them, but the final arrangement will be based on the actual situation on site. • The vehicle model will be arranged according to the number of participants and cannot be specified. For smaller groups, a driver who also serves as an attendant may be arranged, and the commentary will be more concise. • If you need to bring luggage, please inform us in advance. If you bring luggage without prior notice, the guide has the right to refuse boarding, and no refund will be given. Eating and drinking are prohibited in the vehicle. If any damage or stains are caused, compensation will be required according to local standards. Itinerary Adjustments and Safety • Japanese law stipulates that commercial vehicles cannot be driven for more than 10 hours per day. Overtime will incur additional charges (ranging from 5,000 to 10,000 JPY per hour). • The itinerary is for reference only. Actual traffic, stopovers, and sightseeing times may be adjusted due to weather, traffic jams, facility maintenance, and other circumstances. The guide may reasonably change or reduce attractions based on the actual situation. • If ropeways, cruise ships, or other facilities are suspended due to weather or force majeure, the itinerary will be changed to other attractions or the stopover time will be adjusted. • No refunds will be given for late arrivals, temporary changes to meeting points, or leaving the group midway due to personal reasons. Any accidents or additional expenses incurred after leaving the group must be borne by the individual. Season and Scenery • Seasonal activities such as flower viewing, autumn foliage viewing, snow scenery, and fireworks festivals are greatly affected by climate. The blooming period and peak autumn foliage may be earlier or later. Even if the expected scenery is not met, the tour will still proceed as scheduled, and no refunds will be given.

Other Notes • Please arrive at the meeting point on time. No waiting for latecomers, and no joining midway. • It is recommended to wear light clothing and shoes. For winter or mountain itineraries, please bring warm clothing.

* The itinerary does not include personal travel or accident insurance. It is recommended to purchase your own insurance. Outdoor activities and high-risk sports carry certain risks. Travelers are advised to register cautiously based on their health conditions.

* After the trip begins, if it is forced to be interrupted due to natural disasters or force majeure, no refund will be given, and travelers will be responsible for their return journey or additional accommodation expenses.

* During Japanese public holidays and peak travel times on weekends, there are often severe traffic jams or attractions closing early. It is recommended not to book flights, Shinkansen, or dinner for the same evening, and to bring light meals and a power bank.
