Overall, the atmosphere is still good, but the food generally has no flavor. The emcee can liven up the atmosphere! Overall, it still feels good. For the price, it's worth experiencing.

The trip was a complete success, the scenery was very beautiful, the guide was responsible, and the itinerary was full. Hiking in the primeval forest was quite interesting, an aerobic activity that avoided crowds. The hotel was very beautiful, the service attitude was good and the environment was also good. The first night I experienced altitude sickness and the hotel sent medicine and oxygen cylinders several times in the middle of the night. There were a lot of people at the scenic spots, coming in the off-season should be a better experience.

Our guide, Hua Hua, was very enthusiastic, communicating with us attentively throughout the entire trip and preparing water, fruit, and oxygen tanks. She constantly communicated with us about the daily itinerary and adjusted it according to our needs. We successfully visited all the attractions and also saw the golden sunlight on Mount Meili. The food and lodging were excellent.

The itinerary was well-organized, allowing us to do whatever we wanted along the way. Special thanks to our guide and Ms. [Last Name] for accompanying us throughout the trip. They were exceptionally thoughtful, friendly, and professional, taking care of most things for us and responding very quickly. We had so much fun along the way and have to give them a thumbs up! This trip was booked close to the Spring Festival, and it was very worry-free throughout. The driver was very steady, and the online customer service was available the entire time. It's a route that even elderly family members can take. The luxury hotels in the wilderness were all very good; booking them myself would cost at least a thousand or two per night. The hotel room views and service were also very good, and meals were mostly taken care of in the hotel restaurants, which were clean, hygienic, and safe. I've wanted to come to Shangri-La for many years. There are many mountain roads here, making it difficult to drive, and I was also afraid of altitude sickness. This type of chartered car travel is the most convenient. I will continue to follow Klook's private tours in the future.

The itinerary was very interesting and everything was arranged very reasonably. We experienced everything we should have along the way. Our tour guide, Lao Yang, was also great. He was on time for pick-ups and drop-offs every day, and the restaurants he recommended were delicious 😋. We saw the Rizhao Jinshan (Golden Mountain at Sunrise), and the scenery in Pudacuo National Park was also beautiful. It was also very meaningful to climb Baima Snow Mountain on the first day of the New Year!

This trip was very worthwhile. I experienced the stunning scenery of Shangri-La, the unique Tibetan culture, luxurious and wild hotels, towering and precipitous mountain peaks, and year-round snow cover. Our guide, Cheng Ge, was enthusiastic and provided excellent service with comprehensive information. I felt right at home. Everyone can confidently choose their services. Highly recommended.

As you wander through its sprawling complex, you'll be captivated by the intricate murals, vibrant prayer flags, and the serene atmosphere that envelops the sacred halls. Home to over 700 monks, this spiritual haven offers a unique glimpse into the daily rituals and traditions of Tibetan Buddhism. Don't miss the chance to capture the stunning reflections of the monastery in the nearby Lamuyangcuo Lake, especially during sunset when the entire scene is bathed in a golden glow.

Lamuyangcuo Lake

Discover the tranquil beauty of Lamuyangcuo Lake, affectionately known as 'A Lake for the Soul of Heaven Fairy.' This sacred wetland, located in front of the Ganden Sumtseling Monastery, offers breathtaking views and a peaceful escape into nature. Stroll along the scenic boardwalk that encircles the lake, providing the perfect vantage point for photography enthusiasts. As the sun sets, watch in awe as the monastery is illuminated in a warm, golden light, creating a picture-perfect moment that will linger in your memory long after your visit.

Songzanlin Monastery

Nestled at the foot of Foping Mountain, Songzanlin Monastery is a stunning architectural masterpiece that echoes the grandeur of the Potala Palace in Lhasa. As you explore its main structures, including the impressive Zhacang Hall and Jikang Hall, you'll be mesmerized by the intricate frescos and sculptures that adorn the halls. This spiritual sanctuary invites you to delve into the rich cultural heritage of Tibetan Buddhism, offering a serene and enlightening experience for all who visit.

Culture and History

Founded in 1679 under the patronage of the Kangxi Emperor and named by the Fifth Dalai Lama, Ganden Sumtseling Monastery is a testament to the enduring legacy of Tibetan Buddhism. Despite partial destruction during the Cultural Revolution, it was lovingly restored in the 1980s, preserving its historical and spiritual essence. It has since become a vital center for Tibetan Buddhism in southwest China, housing over 1600 monks and serving as a repository of Tibetan art and culture. The monastery has withstood the test of time, preserving ancient traditions and serving as a spiritual haven for the local Tibetan community.

Local Cuisine

While visiting the monastery, travelers can indulge in local Tibetan cuisine, known for its hearty and flavorful dishes. Must-try foods include yak butter tea, tsampa (roasted barley flour), and momos (dumplings), offering a taste of the region's unique culinary heritage. These dishes provide a delightful insight into the local flavors and traditions.

Architectural Splendor
