D1: Arrival in Kunming Fly to Kunming, where you will be greeted with fresh flowers at the airport. Transfer to your hotel and enjoy free time. D2: Kunming - Dali After breakfast, take a bullet train to Dali. Then, visit Ideal Land Santorini (including uphill battery car + afternoon tea), Erhai Ecological Corridor, Xizhou Ancient Town (Xizhou Little Train), Dali Ancient City + Foreigner Street. D3: Dali - Lugu Lake After breakfast, take a bus to Lugu Lake. Visit the observation deck, enjoy a bus tour around the lake, a Mosuo family visit, and a bonfire party. Check into your hotel. D4: Lugu Lake - Lijiang Watch the sunrise in the morning, take a pig trough boat to tour the lake, and visit Liwubi Island. In the afternoon, take a bus to Lijiang (Lijiang Ancient City + Sifang Street). D5: Lijiang After breakfast, visit the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Scenic Area: Glacier Park Grand Cableway + environmental protection car + Blue Moon Valley (including battery car) + Impression Lijiang, Ganhaizi. In the afternoon, visit Yushui Village. D6: Lijiang - Shangri-La After breakfast, visit Tiger Leaping Gorge and enjoy a distant view of the First Bend of the Yangtze River. Then, take a bus to Shangri-La: Dukezong Ancient City, the world’s largest prayer wheel + Turtle Mountain Park. D7: Shangri-La - Kunming After breakfast, visit Songzanlin Monastery and enjoy coffee at Napa Hai Prairie. Take a bullet train to Kunming. D8: Kunming - Departure After breakfast, freely explore Jinma Biji Archway + Jinri Tower + East and West Temple Pagodas. Then, transfer to the airport for your return flight home.

Review for: 8-Day 7-Night Private Tour

Accomodations - overall great. no major complaints. Tips: ask for non smoker room (if you dont smoke). Lugu Lake was the highlight. Mosuo family visit was the most enlightening experience - great stories and chit chat from the tribe. Weather end of june to early july - dress like how you would wear up genting highlands in Malaysia.
