Climbing to the mountaintop lighthouse at Cape Kamui and back only gives you an hour, which is rushed, but the scenery is beautiful on a nice day. The three hours in Otaru, including lunch, wasn't quite enough time to see everything without taking the cruise. At Shiroi Koibito Park, one hour wasn't enough time to visit the museum. We did see a performance, but there's a separate fee for the factory museum.

Great location with an AEON supermarket downstairs and a 100-yen sushi place nearby. Would definitely visit again.

This is the best hotel in Otaru Chikko for viewing the harbor. It's about a five-minute walk from the station, and downstairs you'll find restaurants, various shopping malls, and large supermarkets and department stores – so convenient! The harbor view at night is also fantastic! We booked a twin room again, and the room was much larger than hotels in Sapporo or other cities we visited this time. The mattress was a bit softer, so we slept more comfortably! Unfortunately, the soundproofing in the room was a little poor.

There are two tour guides who can communicate in Chinese, English, and Japanese, and they explain the attractions in detail. We were very lucky to see the Shakotan Blue, and the sea conditions were good, so we saw the Blue Cave and fed the seagulls. It was a perfect trip.

The room type was nice. I didn't purchase breakfast as it was too crowded. The onsen was pretty good, but the late-night ramen was too salty. It's nice that they have popsicles and fermented milk to drink after soaking. There's also coffee on the first floor, which is okay.

Without a day tour, it would be impossible to visit Cape Kamui, Otaru, and Shiroi Koibito Park in Hokkaido all in one day. This tour is very appealing in the summer, with spectacular and rare natural scenery and great weather. The tour guide is very professional, and the time management and itinerary arrangements are very smooth. Thank you for your efforts!
