The views in ine and amanoshidate are breath taking!! It makes me want to come back and see more of japan and experience their culture. However, the assigned tour guide on our trip was not that informative and entertainingunlike other tour guides. She just gave us instructions through pictures which is good but she just does not elaborate more on the historical aspect of the place we’ve gone.

Our guides Itsuki and Alex were phenomenal! We were lucky to have just my partner and I on this guided through Gion so it was more of a private tour. The area admittedly is teeming with tourists and social media photo ops, but having these two two knowledgeable, enthusiastic and truly lovely guides centres your focus on the historical beauty of Gion. Our guides were flexible in reading the pace through the tour, frequently checking in on our interests so we got to linger in areas we had individual interests in (like the Ghibli store!) and managed to account for the humidity and heat, all while answering even the silly questions. The 2 hours flew by before we knew it. 10/10 would recommend

We had a wonderful experience on our Kyoto and Nara tour. Our guide, W ang, was very helpful and accommodating throughout the trip. She was especially patient with our group, as we were traveling with my two senior parents and my sister’s young children (a baby under 1 and a toddler). She made sure everyone was comfortable, gave clear explanations, and adjusted the pace so nobody felt rushed. Thanks to her guidance, we were able to enjoy the sights without stress. What I also liked was how she provided the pinned location of the parking area after each attraction stop, making it easy to find our way back and avoiding anyone getting lost. Thank you W ang!

great full day our guide Frederick was very nice and informative kept the bus on time to each venue, we would have liked more time at the Tori gates we had 80 minutes but as it was very busy we didn’t have enough time to explore the shopping. loved feeding the deers a very enjoyable and unique experience.

Vincent was very knowledgeable and engaging. He shared great stories about the history and good insights on this and that, and humor was on point too. Worth the 3 hour journey, we barely felt the time. Definitely a must-do tour to understand more about Gion and Kyoto's history. Thanks!

We had a great night out. Maria our guide (who is a local Japanese/Pakistani) was extremely knowledgeable about Kyoto and Japan' history, traditions and culture and was animated and personable. she catered for our group of different nationalities professionally and made sure we all were aware of each place, the different foods on offer and how each group could ve catered for. As a teacher myself, her organisational skills were spot on. she made everyone feel relaxed and kept any eye out for all of us whilst navigating the tour. it was an easy walk, and Maria made sure to engage with each group. we've been on many tours and this one was a stand-up, mainkt due to Maria and the great eateries we got to go to. give it a go. caters for all age groups.

we love Amy so much! her energy is great throughout the day. she has suggestions on how to spend the time but allows us to do what we wish as long as we meet in the bus at a certain time. but you may also walk along with her if you want to have a guide.

we had a wonderful time with Hiromi. Her communications beforehand were excellent and she created a plan to best fit our interests.
