Powdery snow, good snowfall, well-managed. There's a wide selection of ginger to eat at the accommodation. The onsen is good.

This trip is all in Japanese with Japanese tour members and bus driver. I was lucky to have guides who knew a little english to tell me about the necessary information on rentals and the ski resort. It was very neat as well as they put the vouchers of the rentals, lift and bus ticket in one bag. If you are a beginner and knows no or little Japanese, I do not recommend this. if you know how to ski and snowboard but dont really know Japanese, you can get by like me. The ski resort was really nice though with many slopes to offer! Had a lot of time and fun to snowboard!

The ski in/out access is very convenient, but although the hotel buildings are connected, the distance between them is a bit long. It takes about 700 steps to walk from building 6 to building 2. Next time, I might consider staying in a building closer to the middle.

It is a super great experience, bus was on time, the rental of the gear was also smooth, just be advised that when they say “ski suit” it doesn’t not includes gloves and goggles, just the pants, jacket, and boots which is fine. It was my first time snowboarding, with this package there is no instructor, so I watched a YouTube video and had fun. If you want a type of experience with coach then this is not it, I would say that this type of adventure is for those who already know how to snowboard and or ski and they just don’t have the gear available, or for the people that are willing to try by themselves

The ski equipment rental shop is conveniently located near the ski resort. Because it was snowing that day, the shop offered a ride, which was very thoughtful. The quality of the ski equipment was pretty good.

This ticket was super easy to purchase compared to some other sites i've used before. Plus it is valid at pretty much all the resorts in the Yuzawa area so I can be real flexible with deciding where I want to go on the day. It's valid rigfht thru the winter season. I've already got another up my sleeve to use when the conditions are perfect.

You can go to Kagura, Tashiro, and Naeba ski resorts. I like Kagura and Tashiro the most. It's more comfortable when there are fewer people on weekdays. Tashiro is really good for practicing!!!
