Booking tickets was easy as usual, and we were able to get a discount. I highly recommend the herb garden, especially for those who enjoy nature walks. Even though we went on a weekend, the lines weren’t long. It’s best to visit outside of the summer months so you can fully enjoy the hammocks in the garden, and the hike is quite manageable. I particularly loved the glasshouse garden and the relaxing foot bath. Also loved the ropeway ride which gives you a view of Kobe.

Beautiful ryokan with quality furnishings and decor, lovely private onsens with views of bamboo tress and natural sceneries. Staff are customer oriented. Free shuttle buses to quaint, small Arima town.

The herb garden is well worth visiting. It is very convenient to buy tickets online to avoid queuing. There are many kinds of plants and flowers planted in the herb garden. It is very suitable for walking around. It is very popular and there are many souvenirs to buy.
