Shikisai no oka tours

Our tour guide Yuan Zhenxiang was very accommodating and made sure of everyone’s safety was a priority. We were informed that Shikosai was closed during our scheduled date so we have to change a bit of plan which was ok. This tour especially the Lonely Christmas Tree was my bucketlist and I am so happy this was fulfilled. Highly recommended.

I'm glad I took this trip instead of DIY. I could imagine the hassle of doing public transport while snowing. Our guide, Tenzo, offered advices so we can maximize our time in each location, which really helped. The penguin walk at the zoo was so cute and adorable. Bus ride was also smooth, thanks to our driver (sorry, forgot his name). I'd recommend this trip if you want to explore a lot of popular areas in one day!

Our guide Oliver from PST had been helpful and friendly, as usual day tour is very rush as it cover few places, Asahiyama Zoo and Shikisa no Oka were both fun, it will be good to brought own food, as Asahiyama zoo food court are always crowded. Ningle Terrance, we were given 40 minutes, walk from and to car park for bus already took 20 minutes as the ground was slippery, suuper long queue toilet 15 minutes, there was no time to go inside the jungle for the wooden cottages. Our guide was very understanding and willing to wait for those came back late. Christmas Tree was nothing much, stand in the freezing cold wind to see a tree, bus couldn’t park, we got to wait in the freezing wind for our bus to come back 🥶

We are very satisfied with this trip! Our tour guide Leo is 10 out of 10! He is fluent in English and Mandarin, and his explanations were very detailed! He has a thorough understanding of the itinerary! He took great care of the needs of the travelers! Very Nice👍🏻 This day trip started in the afternoon, which meant we could have a full lunch before departing, which was better than leaving early in the morning! At Shikisai-no-Oka, be sure to pay to ride the snowmobile! It costs 15,000 yen for 30 minutes, but it's worth it! The scenery is super beautiful! The lonely Christmas tree 🌲 is really just one tree 😂 The Shirahige Falls aren't that special! The Blue Pond is very beautiful👍🏻, and the highlight is the Terrace of the Forest Spirit, we were so lucky we got in! So beautiful, so many photo spots! It would be a shame if you couldn't go! Luckily, we got to go 😂😂😂👍🏻👍🏻 Very praiseworthy! Personally, I would like to visit this place again! I suggest staying longer, one hour is too short! 😂😂😂 But we are already very satisfied with today's trip! Thanks again to our tour guide Leo! We managed to cover many places. However, I feel we can omit the snow mobile and extent the time at the Zoo. The guide Mr. Hong was very accommodating and friendly. He gave us sufficient time to take precious photo Of the famous tree by the name of Ken & Mary tree and also stopped at R&R to allow us to relief ourselves! In addition, he also sent us messages on the meet up time and map of the places that we were visiting so we could fully made good use of our limited time in each attractions!

There were many people at the meeting point with different tour guides hence you really need to explore the area to find your guide. Time was also strict hence you need to go back to your bus on the specified time to be able to complete the tour.

Love this day tour especially the zoo and shirahige waterfall. My 1st experience walking in the zoo in winter season with snowing. Such a good experience for me. Bus is on time for pick up and drop off. Thank you Miss Lucy for so much useful information too. Tour is with English and mandarin language, I can understand this 2 language so is no problem for me.
