Really satisfying with this hotel, with such a spacious room. super clean and got a full kitchen utensils. Can see sakurajima from the room. will definitely Consider to here again if come back to Kagoshima. However, one minor issue was that we could not find staff that easy if you have any problem to discuss with them.

The Kyushu Sengan-en tour package is incredibly comprehensive, offering dining, activities, and souvenirs. Lunch reservations for the chicken soup and rice must be made upon entry, followed by the adorable Shirokuma shaved ice. The package also includes indoor archery, handmade charm crafting, and admission to two museums. I personally found this experience to be very worthwhile. I recommend setting aside at least four hours.

We happened to run into a tour group, which completely blocked the entrance. If you buy tickets here, you don't need to exchange them for physical tickets; just tell the staff, and you can go straight in. It's great not having to wait in line, haha. They have two types of mochi and Sakurajima coffee here, which are pretty good; you can give them a try. You can also see Sakurajima in the distance. The garden itself is quite impressive; if I had such a large garden and house, I'd probably get lost at home every day, haha.

The only issue was that the spa was under maintenance for all four days of our stay. Public transportation might be a bit of a distance from Kagoshima-Chuo, but this actually turned out to be an advantage, as the view from the window made us want to stay at the hotel all day.

The layout is great, and Sengan-en itself is wonderful. I spent a fulfilling five hours relaxing and gazing at Sakurajima after touring the gardens! I thought the Green Ticket included mochi and imo-shochu, but it only covered admission, two experiences, a meal, and a Shirokuma dessert.

A hidden culinary gem in Kagoshima's Tenmonkan district! We ordered Set A, which included sukiyaki and steak. The meat was incredibly fresh and tender! The roasted apple dessert was quite unique. Both the server and the chef were very friendly. We highly recommend this to anyone visiting Kagoshima!
