Things to do in Miyajima Itsukushima Shrine

This was a great experience. They made sure we could have the treats and tea even though we have allergies. They took the time to help us get dressed in the kimonos and then helped us take lots of pictures inside and in the garden. The tea ceremony was beautiful and we had fun trying to make matcha ourselves. There is even a nice shop with a good selection of items. it is off the main path but well worth the extra time.

Me and my boyfriend were the only ones on the tour but how special that was for us and I’m super happy of the tour guide we had. friendly, fun, patient, kind and informative. We had an absolutely wonderful experience with our guide during our visit to Miyajima and Hiroshima. From the very beginning, she made everything incredibly easy and comfortable — she came to pick us up directly from the train station with a warm smile that set the tone for the whole day. Amazing experience. Our guide was fantastic. Could not have asked for a more friendly and lovely guide. Gave us so much information and I felt it was really good value for money. It was a private tour so went at the pace we wanted to. While still making sure we saw everything.

I would give more stars if I could. Masa is an amazing guide who gave us a memorable day with her deep knowledge of the area. She was so patient, kind and the tour was well constructed! would highly recommend requesting her for your trip, you’ll have an amazing time:)
