Electronic tickets were buy one, get one free, but actually only children need tickets while adults can just buy accompanying tickets. Upon arrival, you still have to wait in line to exchange for physical tickets. Because there are many ticket types and rules, the wait is very long. On the day we went, there was construction everywhere outside, leaving only two restaurants on the second floor, plus Yoshinoya and a hot pot place on the first floor, making it difficult to find food. As for the amusement park itself, it is fun, but when it first opened, the air conditioning was not strong, so we were sweating profusely. A few facilities have height restrictions, but once you reach 130 cm, you can ride everything. Children can easily play all day long. For the Snow Wonderland, you need to rent winter clothing, which costs 80 NTD per piece.

It was a nice break from the back to back travel we did here in Taichung (alishan/sun moon lake) and also from the heat during summer months. Price doesn’t differ that much when you buy it directly.

Thanks to Else for enthusiastically taking photos for us and guiding us through the tour. It's been a long time since I've met such a passionate staff member. They helped us have a wonderful afternoon, and now we have many photos and videos to look back on. We purchased tickets on Klook; upon arrival, simply show the QR code to be scanned at the counter, and they will arrange your entry time. There are quite a few exhibits; about half are two-dimensional works, a quarter are interactive installations, and a quarter are walk-through scenes. I highly recommend this activity for a summer afternoon; it's suitable for all ages.

This hot stone spa is conveniently located in the B2 level of the Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Department Store, right behind Taichung Station! The staff were very patient and helpful, and the environment was new and clean. Everything from the restrooms to the hair-drying area and the hot stone spa rooms themselves were spotless, though there was a bit of dust in some of the single-person lying areas, specifically in the corners near the walls.

The foot massage experience was incredibly relaxing and therapeutic. The masseuse began by soaking my feet in warm water to promote circulation, then proceeded to work on the reflexology zones of my soles, targeting areas corresponding to different organs. Although there were occasional moments of soreness, as I adjusted to the pressure, my body felt much more at ease. Afterward, my feet were warm, my entire body felt comfortable, and my fatigue was noticeably reduced. This is especially beneficial for those who stand or sit for long periods, offering a great experience that combines relaxation and health benefits. The shop's atmosphere was warm and comfortable, with soft, non-glaring lighting and gentle music, allowing one to relax immediately upon entering. The subtle aroma of essential oils in the air created a serene and healing environment. The chairs were spacious, the area was clean, and the staff were friendly, making the overall experience even more reassuring and pleasant.

The instructor gave friendly explanations and also helped adjust the work. Black tea and fruit pound cake were provided as snacks. Two groups of guests were separated for their craft sessions, which was great. Although the lamp styles required an additional purchase, the price had a high cost-performance ratio compared to others.

I was worried about the guide's language when booking this tour, but there was no need to worry at all. As described, the guide only speaks English. However, special explanations aren't really necessary when visiting these places; it's best to think of this tour as a transportation service to the sightseeing spots. Since my party was the only one on the day I booked, we essentially got a private car charter service. That made it even better because when we finished seeing everything at a location, we were able to ask to leave earlier than scheduled and move on. There aren't many Taichung sightseeing tours that exclude Sun Moon Lake, but if you want to visit Sun Moon Lake separately, this is a very cost-effective tour with a great itinerary. Also, even though the guide only spoke English, they were friendly and made us feel comfortable. We had a wonderfully productive half-day sightseeing experience.
