Things to do in Heian Shrine

Taking the open-top bus is extremely worthwhile. The weather was lovely, and it stopped at all the major highlight locations, allowing us to tour the entire city in just one day.

We were very satisfied with our full-day trip to Nara and Uji, and I must give our guide, Ms. Mori, a five-star rating. She was very professional and friendly, switching seamlessly between English, Chinese, and Japanese throughout the tour. She explained each attraction carefully and patiently, and clearly arranged all the pick-up and drop-off points. Her thoughtfulness and attention to detail made us feel very comfortable. I left the group in Uji to go to Kyoto on my own, and Ms. Mori even took me almost all the way to JR Nara Station, which I greatly appreciate! The driver was also very professional, drove smoothly, and helped with our luggage. Thank you! I highly recommend this tour; the pace was relaxed yet fulfilling, and the overall experience was excellent. I truly recommend it to everyone!

This time we traveled in a 10-seater vehicle, with a small group of just 6 people. The tour guide and driver were the same person, Wu Junkai. He gave clear instructions for every location and clearly stated the gathering and dispersion times in the messages. The liveliness at Deer Park and being actively chased for food by the deer were part of the fun. Genji-no-Yu is definitely worth visiting for a soak. Inside, there are five types of hot spring pools: calcium carbonate spring, iron spring, white water pool, Hokutolite pool, and cold spring. There are also two individual stone bathtubs for solo soaking. Being able to go back and forth between the multiple pools is a real pleasure. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

Etsko was an amazing guide and a very lovely person! She taught me so much about Miyajima island and all the history. It's a long tour but worth it. It was a great experience and I definitely recommend!

Excellent experience to bike around local temples and world heritage spots around the Gion area. Miki our guide, adopted our itinerary based on our interest and limited time. It was nice to see some of sites before the 9 am rush of tourist. This e-bike is perfect for those who comfortable riding bikes in city traffic and some uphill climbs. We had a beautiful experience visiting the sites in the this part of Kyoto.

Fun trip, clean and comfortable bus, a nice and different experience. Atami is very pretty. A packed dinner is recommended because it's very crowded and difficult to find a spot.
