We're not ones to typically leave reviews, but since there's still no reviews and given the fact that we almost did not take this tour, I felt we'd do our part and leave this review for others who might interested in this tour. Yumi, our guide was great and very accomodating for us. Traveling as a group of six with two younger kids and my in-laws who are older and on the slower side can be challenging and she and everyone else we interacted with on our tour were very accomodating. We all enjoyed this tour I think because we got to experience things that we typically would not get to see traveling on our own around the Nagoya region. First stop in Seki City making the mini scissors was fun, especially for the kids and were cool little souveniers. We ended up buying several more to take home as gifts for others and me being a fan of all kitchen knives in Japan, ended up buying a nice vegetable knife to take home. So many different scissors, knives, even gardening and woodworking tools, I could have easily spend another hour shopping at our first stop! Alas, we must move on...... After a delicious lunch we got to walk through a historical district and tour an old traditional home then went to walk through the Washi museum which was to my surprise a great experience. Finally, the highlight, Inuyama castle which we walked with a local guide who was super knowledge about the history of the castle and led us on a tour of the castle all the way up to the top and around the outer walkway where we got a 360 degree view of the area. Yumi accompanied us the entire day as our guide and translator and was nice enough to make sure we got on the right bus back to our hotel at the end of the day. Safe to say that we were all happy that we chose to take this tour.
