Fantastic 5.0
A great way to experience the diverse attractions of the WA region in one day, from coastal scenery to local food experiences and natural wonders. Highly recommended for visitors wanting to see the highlights comfortably. Thanks Jon for everything!

Fantastic 5.0
Taking a private car is very convenient, and the car ride is quite comfortable. This itinerary includes a visit to a winery for a self-funded wine tasting at 15 Australian dollars for 4 types of wine, and after the tasting, you can choose your favorite wine to purchase. It's very windy at the beach, so be careful not to let your hat be blown away. I ate lavender ice cream; the first bite might feel strange, but it becomes smooth as you eat it, it's all about the concept of trying. The little train is also a new experience, since you came all this way, just take a walk and see, so you don't waste the trip. Then, while riding the little train back, I saw dolphins, very lucky!

Fantastic 5.0
Had a really amazing tour with Don to Margret River. Firstly, hotel pick up was available all around the city to bring us to a meet up point where we will change bus. Then we will get introduced to our tour guide of the day. Don, our tour guide, is a knowledgeable and easy going guy. He went through the history of Australia and the different towns during the two hours drive from Perth to Bussleton Jetty, which is really amazing how he remembers the details so well! We got to visit the Bussleton Jetty, wine tasting at Woody Nooks Wine, lunch at Cheeky Beers, explore Mammoth Crystal Cave, visited the Cape Leeuwin lighthouse and a small town in Margret River. Overall the tour was nicely planned out with just enough time for us to explore the areas.

We traveled with 2 adults and our 6-year-old daughter, and we had a wonderful day trip. Our guide, Kenny, was very kind and patient. The itinerary was followed as described, with on-time pickup and drop-off. Kenny also helped us take family photos. The team contacted us 2–3 days before the trip as well. group size: small group around 6 pax in total guide: Kenny is very nice guy can communicate in Cantonese and mandarin

Great 4.0
It was raining on the day of our tour, so it was rather cold, luckily the tour was a small group (only 6 of us excluding the driver who also acts as a tour guide). The best part was the winery and the lighthouse. We reached back around 8 pm as the journey to margaret river back and fro took a no of hours. Value for money tour.

Great 4.0
The journey from Perth to Margaret River is quite long. This tour manages to visit wineries, the coast, and take a mini-train ride all in one day, making the itinerary very full. However, it's a bit of a shame that lunch only involves sharing pizza with other tour members.

The journey was fun and exciting. The train rides were nice, and the underwater observatory was alright, but the knowledge of the tour guide was the best. I enjoyed the experience.

What to know before visiting Busselton

Quick snapshot of Busselton and what people book

Busselton is a coastal getaway where observation-deck visits, guided tours and outdoor activities lead bookings, and water-based options also appear in the mix. Demand rises and falls sharply through the year, with a concentrated peak in midwinter and a quiet late-summer low.

When to visit for crowds and prices

Klook booking data show the busiest month is July while February sees the lightest demand. Prices move independently at times: they’re typically lowest in July according to Klook data, and tend to climb into April when activity prices are at their highest. If you want smaller crowds and lower prices, plan for the quieter shoulder months around February–March; if you prefer peak-season atmosphere and the liveliest experience, aim for July. Note that demand and price don’t always match — July is both busiest and usually cheapest on Klook, while April can be comparatively pricey even outside the peak booking month.

Tips for travellers arriving from anywhere

Most bookings for Busselton activities are made about a week in advance on Klook, with some travellers booking last-minute and others securing plans a few weeks out. For a short trip this means you can be flexible and still find options, but during the busy July period consider locking in tours or popular observation-deck tickets earlier. Use Klook to compare timing and options so you can pick quieter slots or better-value dates.
