Margaret River Cave, Wine & Busselton Jetty Tour

Had a really amazing tour with Don to Margret River. Firstly, hotel pick up was available all around the city to bring us to a meet up point where we will change bus. Then we will get introduced to our tour guide of the day. Don, our tour guide, is a knowledgeable and easy going guy. He went through the history of Australia and the different towns during the two hours drive from Perth to Bussleton Jetty, which is really amazing how he remembers the details so well! We got to visit the Bussleton Jetty, wine tasting at Woody Nooks Wine, lunch at Cheeky Beers, explore Mammoth Crystal Cave, visited the Cape Leeuwin lighthouse and a small town in Margret River. Overall the tour was nicely planned out with just enough time for us to explore the areas.

Most rural sightseeing around Perth involves long hours of transportation, and this tour is no exception. The total round-trip travel time is about 6 hours, but the itinerary is well structured, covering several popular highlights such as Margaret River Cave, wine tasting, Busselton Jetty, and Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse. At each stop, we were given around 30–45 minutes, which felt reasonable for sightseeing and taking photos. The tour guide and driver (the same person) was very organised and engaging, providing informative and amusing commentary throughout the journey. The group experience was also excellent — everyone was polite, punctual, and considerate. Group dynamics matter a lot to me as they can really affect the overall mood, and this group made the day even more enjoyable. The tour starts early with a 7:00am pickup and returns around 9:30pm. It’s a long day, but one filled with beautiful scenery and memorable sights. A good option if you want to see multiple key attractions.

The entire process, from hotel pickup to the day tour, was excuted professionally. Our driver and guide is very knowledgeable and shares history and stories with us. There was even a stopover at the Margaret River town for us to stretch our legs and grab dinner. wonderful experience

Pick up and Drop off outside our hotel itself was great addition to the tour. The itinerary was plan out well, love visiting all the attractions. Sun goes down quickly during autumn season, therefore it was crucial to stay on time. Overall, we enjoyed the day trip.

the tour was quite nice and the view every stop we went was stunning. if you want to have a quick preview of the margaret river and the town while you are in perth this tour is for you. The tour guide/driver Le did a great job bringing us around and back to the city safely plus sharing all the good to know facts and infos of the tour.

Before departure, we discovered that the email showed that it was not the hotel we originally requested for pick-up and drop-off, and we needed to go to the designated meeting point. After communicating via email, the local supplier accepted our pick-up and drop-off at a location that is 3 minutes away by foot👍🏻The journey was OK, but the arranged trip to the trestle was only 45 minutes, and we were unable to complete half of the long bridge. In the end, we had to rush back to the meeting point to continue. Next trip. The wine tasting tour has plenty of time, and provides tasting and guided tours of a variety of beers and wines. Finally, the tour guide and driver specially arranged for us to buy food for dinner at a large supermarket we passed. Since it was already past 8pm when we returned to the city, many shops and restaurants were closed, which was really helpful✌🏻It is very worthy of praise👍🏻

Great trip and the driver had a good sense humour and the whole trip was entertaining. Driver was also very knowledgeable to explain to us the history of Western Australia.

The tour is very nice, operators are very enggaging, they discussess every town what they are famous for. Also Margaret River is very gorgeous! It’s like I am in a setting of a movie…

Needless to say, the scenery of tourist attractions is beautiful, just look at the photos. The driver who is responsible for driving is also a tour guide. He has introduced the scenic spots in detail during the drive. Tourists can visit immediately after getting off the car, saving time on explaining the scenic spots. It includes a hamburger lunch. It is recommended to choose beef burger, which I personally think is more delicious. Before lunch, taste wines from the region at the winery next to the restaurant. If you can drink, they can give guests tastings of all varieties. Overall, the itinerary is pretty good, but the round trip is quite far, so I suggest you be prepared!
