Transport in Hue

Our driver played great music which made our trip to Ba Na Hills worthwhile. He was also kind and accommodating to all our requests. We even changed our drop-off point a few hours before pick-up and he instantly agreed. Booking a private car to Ba Na Hills is cheaper and way more convenient than other options

The train journey was very enjoyable. However, I was anxious until the last minute because the return voucher hadn't arrived even the day before, and I worried I might be able to go to Hue but not return. The 'booking confirmation in progress' message continued for over half a month, and it was only after I inquired by email the day before that the voucher finally arrived. I've been feeling distrustful of Klook recently. Even when I bought a fast-track immigration ticket, no staff member came to meet me. I've purchased various activity tickets this year, but each time it's been a source of worry and anxiety. I'm reconsidering using Klook next year. It's disappointing.

For people looking to move from DaNang/Hoi An to Hue, a private transfer is a really apt option as most if the route is through the absolutely stunning Hai Van pass. The drivers are courteous enough to make a short stop at the High Van pass view points which really offer a dash of history coupled with a scenic landscape.

This time, we opted for a 12-person private car charter with a Chinese-speaking driver. The driver arrived at our hotel on time to pick us up. To our surprise, in addition to the driver, there was also a tour guide named Yan'er who spoke Mandarin and helped us arrange our itinerary. (We had only expected a Chinese-speaking driver, but the guide explained that this arrangement was made because there are few drivers who speak Chinese.) We are very grateful to Team Tung for their arrangements. They contacted us via WhatsApp two days before the trip to get a preliminary understanding of our itinerary. On the day of the tour, our guide Yan'er was flexible with the arrangements, allowing us to complete all the activities we wanted to do and places we wanted to visit within a single day. She took meticulous care of our entire family, including the elderly and children, throughout the trip. Highly recommended! 🌟🌟🌟

Every driver was cool and unique, and worked very hard. Although there wasn't much interaction or assistance during the trip, they responsibly and safely delivered passengers to their destinations. Thank you for your hard work! 🥰🥰

Very recommended. Tu was our very friendly driver. His English was excellent, very punctual, patient, and responsive. He told us all about the places we visited and recommended activities—including fair prices for each activity. We visited Ling An, lunch at stone bowl pho, Marble Mountain, and Hoi An for 8 hours. His car was comfortable, clean, and well-maintained. Mineral water was also provided. Thank you, Tu, for a wonderful and memorable day.

The door-to-door transfer service from hotel to hotel was incredibly helpful. The air conditioning and seats in the car were comfortable for the long journey. Water was also provided. The scenic route, filled with lush greenery, was very pleasant. We departed Hoi An at 11 AM and arrived in Hue just after 2 PM, which allowed us to visit the An Dinh Palace near our hotel afterward.

Everything was incredibly smooth. Special thanks to Jackie for the quick communication; about our itinerary, Jackie provided excellent suggestions on the most efficient route. Our driver was Mr. Duc. We took a train to Hue and used this full-day service for sightseeing followed by a drop-off at our Da Nang hotel. Although our train arrived 30 minutes early, Mr. Duc was already waiting at the station, so we could start our tour immediately. He was very kind, showing us where to buy tickets and giving us helpful tips for the Imperial City. Our itinerary: 1. Lunch at Teo Restaurant 2. Khải Định Tomb 3. Imperial City (After visiting, we messaged our location from cafe via WhatsApp for a quick pickup) 4. Thiên Mụ Pagoda (I’m so glad we didn’t skip this!) 5. Dinner at Bun Bo Hue Sen Even when it started raining in the evening, he was waiting right there in the parking lot so we didn't get wet. I’m so grateful for this efficient service—it made our Hue trip perfect!

Took a trip Hue to Hanoi. They store our luggage for free before the trip so we could explore the Hue city. Their office has great waiting lounge with toilet included. The bus itself was comfortable and beds were big enough to have a good sleep. They provide also blanket which comes handy bc of the strong AC. Bus made a few toilet stops, bc the toilet on bus was unavaible i believe. The ride took around 12 hours in total, but felt like it was faster.
