Reviews
Really good guide and range of foods at local hotspots. Maybe not suitable for families with young children as there is quite a lot of walking. tried 6 different foods over a 3.5 hour period.
This is a great tour to explore Hue by night & visit food vendors & restaurants all over the city. Our guide Serene, was fun, friendly & passionate about Hue and the cuisine we were eating. she really went above & beyond to ensure we were comfortable & had the best experience. The crunchy pancake & noodle soup are delicious!
We enjoyed our trip and it's always fun to ride the cyclo. Because we are really interested in the how and what the dishes are made of, we don't always get the right or enough information about the dishes, especially if English are not fluent. Maybe in future the guide can have the information on his telephone about the dishes you going to taste.
verry hospital guide, explained about the food, but also about the city and the history. nice places that we visited and a lot of food. Bun bo heu was amazing.
Not worth the $30x6 pax. We could hv gotten better hue food. We didnt get to try everything as some were closed and portion was small. However, it as an interesting experience sitting on small stools having supper. Walk along perfume river was nice. But we could have gone by ourselves
If English isn't painful, it's totally recommended! I used it as a cyclo ride. It was a very private experience as we were the only ones who made reservations for the tour on the day. If you talk with the guide and tell him what you want to eat or what you can't eat, he will not go to another restaurant. I applied for c-chloro because I was worried that I wouldn't be able to go to a restaurant a little far away if I walked, but it was a great choice! The chicken wings, Nemrui, and Ban Quang & beer I ate in front of Dongba Market are the most memorable!
meeting at our hotel, we walked the city. we visited restaurants that were local secrets - ate too much and saw the local sights by night. safe and enjoyable!
the local guide bought us to very good local food around Hue. However, do note that walking about 2-3 hrs and may not be ideal for elderly and during wet weather.
I had a parent and a child and I used a product that I took a cycling tour for food. I walked around cycling without walking, so it was good and the child was happy. I go to four restaurants and they are all famous restaurants. There was food that would not have known if it was not a tour. However, I would like to participate in the tour with a hungry boat. After cycling, I stopped at a spot in front of the castle and took pictures of the night view. The guide was nice and kind of trying, but I did not have a detailed description of the food. I need to ask for the food name. So I lost a star. It would be better if there was a description of the food.
Great tour guide who took us to four different places to sample the local food. Had a wonderful time and would recommend this tour.
