This trip is well worth the money. You need to make sure you know the boarding location well; I took the wrong free shuttle, as it departs from the Fisherman's Wharf side. They don't hand out tickets in order of arrival, they give out number tags instead, so arriving a bit late should be fine. The night view is truly amazing, and I also recommend the Parisian Eiffel Tower night viewing. I found myself wondering why I hadn't seen this before leaving Macau; it is money well spent. I got a 10% discount with my membership card, but Klook is affordable too. Have a wonderful trip~~^^

SUPERB TOUR! Our tour guide Cisco did an amazing job. I learnt so much about the history of Macau and I got to see some amazing historical and cultural locations. The pace of the tour wasn't too rushed, and the air-conned bus was super comfy. There wasn't too much walking, and the hotel lunch was lovely as well. 10/10 experience.

Fantastic 5.0
My family/group really enjoyed the tour. It was a mixture of culture, history, and fun experiences around Macau. Although it rained in the middle of the tour, it has been a unique and memorable experience for us. Our tour guide, Manuel, went an extra mile to ensure everyone is safe and doing great. Manuel is great at his job. He is well informed about the history of Macau, and he leads us to where the best finds and attraction are. The tour was capped off by a delicious egg tart and token. This tour is highly recommended! Thank you very much.

We had a fantastic experience on the Macao hop-on, hop-off bus—it was well worth the money! Our guide, Fan, was waiting for us right as we arrived at the Macao Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal, making check-in effortless. She was incredibly friendly, graciously took photos for us, and offered great tips on local spots and navigation. We especially appreciated how smoothly she switched between English and Chinese to narrate the points of interest. The route offered a great variety of sights and activities. Since some stops were within easy walking distance of one another, we could explore at our own pace without waiting for the next bus. Visiting on a sunny Monday meant the crowds were minimal, making the whole trip even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

We had a great experience taking the TurboJET ferry from Macau back to Hong Kong! Booking through Klook was super easy and convenient, and boarding and disembarking were both quick and straightforward. A useful tip is to depart from the Taipa Ferry Terminal, as it is the closest terminal to the Cotai Strip. You can also take advantage of the free hotel shuttle buses from the major hotels along the Cotai Strip to get back to the ferry terminal, saving money on transport! Overall, a smooth and hassle-free experience. Would definitely recommend booking through Klook!

Very convenient and affordable way to travel between Hong Kong and Macau 🚍✨ The bus was comfortable, clean, and the journey across the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge was a nice experience itself. Staff were helpful, and the redemption/check-in process was smoother than expected. A great alternative to the ferry, especially for travelers who prefer a direct and hassle-free trip. Would recommend for both tourists and first-time visitors!

What to know before visiting Macau

Macau at a glance for visitors

Macau's top experiences on Klook are led by Events & shows, followed by Tours, Observation decks and Museums, with Water parks also showing strong interest. Bookings follow a clear annual rhythm: demand peaks in February and falls to its trough in October, so the city alternates between festival-driven spikes and much quieter autumn weeks. This pattern shapes what you can expect from attractions and performances across the year, and deciding whether you want lively festival months or a quieter visit is the main planning choice travellers face. All figures reflect Klook booking data.

Best months to visit Macau

February is the busiest month on Klook, with demand rising well above a typical month, while October sees the quietest bookings. Prices move relatively little through the year: the median paid on Klook ranges from USD 23 at the lower end to USD 25 at the upper end, so quieter months often bring only modest savings. For lower prices and smaller crowds pick July through October; for peak-season atmosphere and big events choose February and April. These observations are based on Klook booking data.

Month Demand Level Typical Price
January Busier than usual USD 23
February Busier than usual USD 24
March Busier than usual USD 23
April Busier than usual USD 24
May Busier than usual USD 25
June Busier than usual USD 23
July About average USD 23
August Quieter than usual USD 24
September Quieter than usual USD 24
October Quieter than usual USD 24
November About average USD 24
December About average USD 25

Demand is bookings in that month compared with a typical month, from historical Klook booking data, grouped into the demand levels above; typical price is the median paid on Klook in that month; prices are shown with their currency code. Based on Klook booking data, July 2025 – June 2026.

Where to base yourself in Macau

Typical nightly hotel prices on Klook show São Lourenço as the most affordable district, typically around USD 81, while Cotai sits at the priciest end, typically around USD 196. That is a gap of roughly 59% between the two. Cheaper districts tend to suit travellers prioritising value and longer stays who plan to spend more time exploring on foot; pricier districts suit those wanting a higher-end hotel experience and more on-site leisure options. All hotel figures are based on Klook booking data.

Practical booking timing for travellers

Most travellers on Klook lock experiences in about 3 days ahead, while the earliest planners book around 13 days out. That means you can often stay flexible and secure tickets a few days before travel, though in peak months like February and April it pays to book earlier. Use Klook to reserve popular shows and tours in advance when the city is busy; the platform's historical booking patterns make it easy to spot which dates sell out sooner. All timing guidance is based on Klook booking data.
