    Macau Travel Requirements

Before anything else, here are the requirements all inbound travelers need to accomplish prior to their arrival.
    • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 - All travelers aged 12+ are required to present proof of their vaccination against COVID-19.
    • No need to present any nucleic acid test results (NAATs) - As of 1 April 2023, inbound travelers don’t need to present any nucleic acid test result. For more timely updates regarding this, you may refer to the Government Information Bureau of the Macao SAR.
    • Entry Permit - You may refer to the Government Portal of Macau for a complete list of countries whose residents are exempt from needing a visa or entry permit.

    Mask Guidelines

Since February 2023, Macau has eased up on their mask policy, you’re no longer required to wear a mask while outdoors! While wearing a mask outdoors isn’t mandated, you’re still required in some places such as in public transportation and medical institutions. As a general rule, wear your masks while indoors unless stated otherwise by the establishment.
