An Amazing Day Exploring Bandung with Kang Iwan!
We had such a wonderful time exploring Bandung with Kang Iwan! He picked us up from our hotel at 6am, and we managed to visit Kawah Putih, Kawah Rengganis, Situ Patenggang, and have lunch at a local favourite, Pawon Kang Bima. The views were absolutely breathtaking, especially the beautiful tea plantations, and the food was amazing too!
Kang Iwan was not only a great driver but also a very helpful, friendly, and fun person to spend the day with. He even taught us some Sundanese phrases, so now we can greet and thank people in Bandung like the locals! 😄 “Wilujeng Enjing” means good morning, and “Hatur Nuhun” means thank you.
Despite starting so early, the entire trip was enjoyable from beginning to end.
Highly recommend Kang Iwan to anyone visiting Bandung! If you’re looking for a reliable driver who makes your trip memorable, he’s definitely the person to go with. Thank you, Kang Iwan, for such a lovely experience! 🙏🏻

with my man heri, it was a wonderful trip. he drove safely, and he was very friendly. thanks to his guide, I was able to visit Kawah Poetih, Rengganis crater, Ranca Upas. I loved all places i went with Heri. even the lunch and the road which had tea plantation views were all nice. Also I would love to travel again with Heri if I come to Indonesi again.

Comfortable and efficient transfer from Bandung to Jakarta. The driver was friendly, and the car was freshly washed before our trip.
Despite allowing extra time for potential traffic disruptions due to demonstrations in Jakarta, the journey took only around 2.5 hours, much quicker than expected.
Smooth, convenient door-to-door service and good value for money. Highly recommended!

Amazing experience renting a scooter here! I'd say this is one of the best rental places I've ever tried in Bandung. The scooter provided was truly in excellent condition, clean, and very well-maintained, making the ride feel safe and comfortable. A huge plus also goes to the admin service: very friendly, communicative, and responsive. Coordination from the initial booking to the return of the unit was super smooth and hassle-free. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a reliable scooter rental!

Decent hotel for the price, part of IHG group. It is relatively new hotel, which is reflected by newer modern interior and furnitures!

Overall, we had a lovely and memorable stay at The Gaia Hotel Bandung, and I would like to sincerely thank the entire team for making my husband’s birthday special.
Before coming to Bandung, I was in contact with the Concierge and Guest Relations teams as it was my first time travelling to Bandung. I had quite a number of questions and clarifications, and the team was always patient and helpful in assisting me. That gave me a lot of reassurance before our trip.
One of the highlights of our stay was the birthday surprise. While I was out with my husband on the eve of his birthday, the team kindly decorated our room. When we returned, he was pleasantly surprised. Then, at midnight, a group of your staff came up to our room with a birthday cake and sang the birthday song for him. It was such a thoughtful gesture and something we will remember for a long time. Please extend our appreciation to everyone involved.
We were also very grateful to be given a late check-out until 1pm.

What to know before visiting Bandung
What to expect in Bandung
Bandung’s busiest Klook categories are Attraction passes, Massages and Cultural experiences, and bookings follow a clear annual rhythm. Klook booking data show demand peaks in December and drops to a trough in August, so the city alternates between busy holiday pulses and a quiet late-wet-season lull. Visitors can expect lively cultural offerings and attraction passes to dominate in the high season, while massages and small-group cultural experiences stay available year-round. Decide whether you want peak-season atmosphere or quieter value months — that choice shapes prices and availability on Klook.
When to visit and price trends
December is the clear high point for demand, and August is the quietest month; Klook booking data mark December as a peak and August as a pronounced trough. Prices drift through the year with a notable spike in February and the lowest median price in September, so demand and prices sometimes move together (busy December with mid-range prices) and sometimes diverge (very quiet August with still-moderate medians). For lower prices and smaller crowds, aim for September or August; for festive atmosphere, pick December.
| Month | Demand Level | Typical Price |
|---|---|---|
| January | Busier than usual | USD 13 |
| February | Busier than usual | USD 28 |
| March | About average | USD 24 |
| April | About average | USD 13 |
| May | About average | USD 12 |
| June | About average | USD 12 |
| July | About average | USD 11 |
| August | Very quiet | USD 11 |
| September | Quieter than usual | USD 8 |
| October | Quieter than usual | USD 12 |
| November | About average | USD 10 |
| December | Peak demand | USD 12 |
Demand is bookings in that month compared with a typical month, from historical Klook booking data, grouped into the demand levels above; typical price is the median paid on Klook in that month; prices are shown with their currency code. Based on Klook booking data, July 2025 – June 2026.
Where to stay in Bandung
Klook booking data show Sukajadi as the most affordable district and Cidadap as the priciest by typical nightly hotel rate, with Sukajadi around USD 35 and Cidadap around USD 114 — a gap of roughly 69% between them. Cheaper districts tend to suit travellers prioritising budget and longer stays or more local dining; pricier districts suit those after more upscale hotels and a pampered stay. Use the price gap to pick whether you want to save on nightly rates or trade up for a more premium neighbourhood experience on Klook.
Tips for travellers planning ahead
Most bookings on the platform are made very close to travel dates: travelers typically book experiences only a day or two out, and the earliest planners book around 1 day out, according to Klook aggregate advance-booking data. That means you can stay flexible for most activities, but during the December peak it’s wise to reserve popular options earlier. Book on Klook when you’re ready — the platform’s availability and past booking patterns make it easy to lock in timed experiences or attractions as your plans firm up.
