Insane views. Fell in love with the place. People should wear masks going there because of the sulfur. The ticketing process was also smooth and well-organized. There's a shuttle bus that goes back and forth to the crater.
Buying tickets on-site costs Rp143 for foreigners, but it's much cheaper on Klook, and it's very convenient because you can buy and use them instantly. You exchange the QR code for a physical ticket, and you also need to buy a shuttle bus ticket on-site for Rp32 per person.
amazing natural phenomenon. we paid extra to get up to the viewpoint overlooking the lake. it was even more beautiful up there. I’ve deducted a point due to extra costs (eg toilet, viewpoint etc etc). I think everything should be included in the price. also the access roads were very rough.
easy to redeem after purchase the ticket on the spot because we were not sure which package should take. nice place, awesome view and quite adventure rides to & fro.

it feels surreal! visited kawah putih with my husband and we both felt like it you enter a paradise. just one note: if you are sensitive with the smell, you may bring a mask with you or you can buy in the sellers in the area

Highly recommended! Just present the confirmation QR code at the office desk for a printed ticket and proceed to the entrance. There was no queue at the office at all. I bought a ticket that included the ontang anting, and it was a fun and bumpy 10-minute ride! Kawah Putih is beautiful, but make sure to bring your own mask as they will ask you to wear it before going down to the kawah as the smell of sulfur is quite strong. They also sell masks for around IDR5K each. The mask can be taken off when near kawah.
