Fantastic 5.0
we started our journey at 5am. The guide was slightly late but was ok. The journey was pleased. The guide recommended us to take a boat ride before heading up to Tagaytay hill. the ride was a bit pricey but still acceptable. The guide was informative and flexible. was a pleasant trip overall

Meet up was at Starbucks One E-Com Center. The driver picked us up on time. On the way to Tagaytay, my cousin felt unwell in the car and threw up a little, but the driver was very nice about it and even cleaned the mess for us. The trip went really well and we enjoyed it a lot. We skipped some places on the itinerary because after lunch we all felt exhausted and just wanted to rest and head home. Other than that, everything went smoothly. Kudos to the driver — I didn’t catch his name, but he was very kind 👍

Fantastic 5.0
The hike was really beautiful! Unfortunately, our tour wasn't booked enough, so it didn't take place, but we were contacted and offered 3 alternative options. One of them was that we could easily join another organization without any extra effort or cost. We would describe the hike itself as more moderate than easy. The path is narrow, has many tripping hazards, and drops off steeply to the right and left, so you definitely don't want to fall. It's especially difficult since you start at night and therefore can't see as well with a flashlight as during the day. Near the summit, there were many short sections that were more like climbing than hiking. Since I currently have a shoulder injury, it was a real challenge for me and involved pain. However, the difficulties were worth it because the view was beautiful! I would definitely recommend the tour, but more for non-beginners or rather fit people. :)

For dinner, the rice was a bit undercooked, and the pork in the Sinigang was still tough, so I rate the food 5/10 for dinner. Breakfast: 10/10 Hotel location: 10/10 Cleanliness: 10/10 Service: 10/10, but overall the experience is very good ☺️😍 Transport access: 10/10

What to know before visiting Tagaytay

Quick snapshot of Tagaytay and what draws visitors

Tagaytay is a cool-elevation getaway known for outdoor attractions and family-friendly experiences. The busiest bookings on Klook are for theme parks, followed by zoos & aquariums, with water activities and tours also popular — demand rises and falls through the year, giving the city a clear seasonal rhythm.

Best months to visit and how prices change

Klook data show February as the peak month for bookings and October as the quietest month. Prices stay largely steady for most of the year, with a small dip around May where Klook bookings typically show the lowest median price. If you want smaller crowds and generally lower prices, consider visiting in May or October; if you’re after the peak-season atmosphere and busiest attractions, aim for February. Overall, demand and prices are mostly aligned except for the May price dip, when crowds aren’t at their lowest but median prices are typically lower.

Tips for travellers

Most experiences in Tagaytay can be booked at short notice — Klook booking patterns show minimal advance lead time is common. That makes the destination a good fit for spontaneous plans: browse options on Klook and lock in activities a day or two before arrival if you prefer flexibility.
