Fantastic 5.0
we started our journey at 5am. The guide was slightly late but was ok. The journey was pleased. The guide recommended us to take a boat ride before heading up to Tagaytay hill. the ride was a bit pricey but still acceptable. The guide was informative and flexible. was a pleasant trip overall

Meet up was at Starbucks One E-Com Center. The driver picked us up on time. On the way to Tagaytay, my cousin felt unwell in the car and threw up a little, but the driver was very nice about it and even cleaned the mess for us. The trip went really well and we enjoyed it a lot. We skipped some places on the itinerary because after lunch we all felt exhausted and just wanted to rest and head home. Other than that, everything went smoothly. Kudos to the driver — I didn’t catch his name, but he was very kind 👍

Fantastic 5.0
The hike was really beautiful! Unfortunately, our tour wasn't booked enough, so it didn't take place, but we were contacted and offered 3 alternative options. One of them was that we could easily join another organization without any extra effort or cost. We would describe the hike itself as more moderate than easy. The path is narrow, has many tripping hazards, and drops off steeply to the right and left, so you definitely don't want to fall. It's especially difficult since you start at night and therefore can't see as well with a flashlight as during the day. Near the summit, there were many short sections that were more like climbing than hiking. Since I currently have a shoulder injury, it was a real challenge for me and involved pain. However, the difficulties were worth it because the view was beautiful! I would definitely recommend the tour, but more for non-beginners or rather fit people. :)

What to know before visiting Tagaytay

Top experiences throughout the year

Tagaytay’s visitors mostly book Theme parks and Zoos & aquariums, with lively demand spilling into Water activities and guided Tours; outdoor and sports experiences register far fewer bookings but sit at the high end of the price scale. Demand peaks in January and again climbs toward December, while September is the quietest month, so the flow of attractions follows a clear high-season rhythm.

Best activities by traveller type

Families will gravitate toward Theme parks and Zoos & aquariums — easy, child-friendly outings that dominate bookings and suit mixed-age groups. Couples often choose Water activities or Tours for a more relaxed, scenic experience away from crowds. Solo travellers and small groups can find niche options among Tours and the pricier Outdoor & sports activities, which tend to be more specialised and less crowded.

What travellers book ahead

What travellers from Global book ahead Most things in Tagaytay can be picked up at short notice — typical bookings show flexibility and are often made on the same day or just a day before; still, the earliest planners lock things in around a day ahead, which matters most during the January peak. If you’re visiting in the busiest months, consider securing popular Theme park and Water activity tickets a little earlier to avoid sold-out time slots.

How the categories compare on price and fit

Zoos & aquariums are the easiest and cheapest way in, offering entry-level prices and broad appeal for families and casual visitors. Theme parks sit above them in popularity but remain mid-range in cost, ideal for family days out. Water activities and Tours occupy a mid-to-upper band and suit couples or small groups seeking a more scenic or guided experience. Outdoor & sports activities are the priciest and show the widest price spread, catering to travellers after premium, specialised adventures.
