Before my first trip to Fukuoka, I diligently researched ChatGPT, Google reviews, and blog posts, and chose the Mitsui Garden Hotel Gion, which is popular with Korean families. It was within walking distance of Hakata Station, had a 7-Eleven across the crosswalk, and a MaxValu 24-hour store nearby, making it convenient to buy things like pre-cut fruit. Getting to Tenjin was also easy, whether from Gion or Hakata, or even Kushinsha, depending on the itinerary, so the subway accessibility was excellent. It was surprisingly closer than it appeared on Google Maps! Amenities like toothbrushes, toothpaste, body towels, shower caps, shampoo, conditioner, face cleanser, and cotton swabs are all available in the lobby for guests to take at any time, and they are also fully stocked in the 13th-floor public bath and in the rooms. You truly only need to bring yourself to this accommodation. Other reviews mentioned relieving fatigue in the public bath and open-air bath, so I went right when it opened at 5 AM and quickly took some photos since no one else was there. After returning from outings in the hot weather, I visited the public bath twice a day for all three nights. There was a staff member who spoke Korean well, and they were very kind and helpful. The standard double room was fine for two adults with two suitcases (24-inch and 20-inch) opened and used. There was a sofa and a table, so we could eat snacks we bought, and the refrigerator kept things cold. Since it was summer and we drank a lot of water, we continuously got bottled water from the front desk every time we returned from an outing. I think we received over 10 bottles of water. It's great for families, and if you're traveling with parents, the public bath is a huge advantage. We had a wonderful 3-night stay at the friendly Mitsui Garden.

Wir haben unseren 5-tägigen Aufenthalt im Hotel sehr genossen. Sehr sauber, zuvorkommendes und hilfsbereites Personal, gute Lage und angemessener Preis. Sehr empfehlenswert. Und wenn Sie katholisch sind, befindet sich die Kirche direkt gegenüber, Sie können an der englischen Sonntagsmesse teilnehmen. Ich werde auf jeden Fall in dieses Hotel zurückkommen. Sehr gute Erfahrung.

Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr nah am Bahnhof Hakata. Es ist sehr bequem, überall hinzukommen. Das Zimmer ist groß und geräumig. Die Sauberkeit ist gut. Die Betten sind bequem.

Service: The staff are friendly and kind, with good English skills, so communication is not an issue. Breakfast: Breakfast is served in the restaurant next to the 1st floor. There's a wide variety of Japanese and Western dishes, all fresh and delicious!

The room for one person is stylishly decorated, and the view from the window is especially good. Even with luggage, the room still feels spacious. The room is equipped with basically all necessities, such as slippers, disposable toothbrushes, a hairdryer, a small refrigerator... There is a room cleaning service almost every day. The bathroom is beautiful, and the bathtub is clean and suitable for taking a bath. The transportation is also very convenient; it's right outside the city center and a five-minute walk from the station. Very satisfied! 👍

Ich habe 6 Nächte in diesem Hotel verbracht, allerdings nicht am Stück, da ich zwischendurch nach Yufuin gereist bin. Ich kam früh morgens an und wurde herzlich von einer Mitarbeiterin begrüßt. Es regnete stark und ich war durchnässt. Sie reichte mir sofort ein Handtuch, was mir ein Gefühl von Wärme und Fürsorge gab! Dann erzählte ich ihr, dass meine Reservierung über verschiedene Plattformen vorgenommen worden war. Sie suchte geduldig in ihrem System und fand meine Buchungen. Ich schätzte ihre freundliche Unterstützung, Fürsorge und den freundlichen Service wirklich sehr! Ichiban! Als ich zum zweiten Check-in zurückkam, war es ebenfalls morgens. Sie erledigten dies effizient und fanden meine Buchung sofort. Sie halfen sogar, mein Gepäck auf mein Zimmer zu bringen, als ich abends nach dem Abendessen zurückkam. Insgesamt sind die Hoteldienstleistungen, die Lage, die Zimmergröße und die Annehmlichkeiten alle gut. Ich werde dieses Hotel definitiv wieder wählen, wenn ich das nächste Mal nach Fukuoka reise!

Best hotel location but if you want use laundry coin there just have 2 and 1 Dryer at 3rd floor

loved the location! it was 3 mins away from the hotel and near the malls. staff are nice and helpful too. the rooms are fine and well kept. i love that that train platform is so near our ebtrance/exit. would stay here again if i could

It was my first time visiting Fukuoka, and I loved it so much. It wasn't like a crazy busy market; I liked the calm and quiet atmosphere, and all the staff were friendly! The exterior was also magnificent, and the interior itself was like a work of art, so I was almost sad that I couldn't spend more time at the hotel. I was worried that Japanese hotel rooms would be small, but the room here was spacious and very satisfying! I would like to stay here again next time I visit. I was worried that there wouldn't be many options for breakfast, but it turned out to be a delicious and well-organized spread!
