Hotels in Fukuoka Prefecture

Before my first trip to Fukuoka, I diligently researched ChatGPT, Google reviews, and blog posts, and chose the Mitsui Garden Hotel Gion, which is popular with Korean families. It was within walking distance of Hakata Station, had a 7-Eleven across the crosswalk, and a MaxValu 24-hour store nearby, making it convenient to buy things like pre-cut fruit. Getting to Tenjin was also easy, whether from Gion or Hakata, or even Kushinsha, depending on the itinerary, so the subway accessibility was excellent. It was surprisingly closer than it appeared on Google Maps! Amenities like toothbrushes, toothpaste, body towels, shower caps, shampoo, conditioner, face cleanser, and cotton swabs are all available in the lobby for guests to take at any time, and they are also fully stocked in the 13th-floor public bath and in the rooms. You truly only need to bring yourself to this accommodation. Other reviews mentioned relieving fatigue in the public bath and open-air bath, so I went right when it opened at 5 AM and quickly took some photos since no one else was there. After returning from outings in the hot weather, I visited the public bath twice a day for all three nights. There was a staff member who spoke Korean well, and they were very kind and helpful. The standard double room was fine for two adults with two suitcases (24-inch and 20-inch) opened and used. There was a sofa and a table, so we could eat snacks we bought, and the refrigerator kept things cold. Since it was summer and we drank a lot of water, we continuously got bottled water from the front desk every time we returned from an outing. I think we received over 10 bottles of water. It's great for families, and if you're traveling with parents, the public bath is a huge advantage. We had a wonderful 3-night stay at the friendly Mitsui Garden.

Locatie van het hotel: Handig, het hotel heeft betaald parkeren en er zijn ook veel parkeerplaatsen in de buurt, dus het is autovriendelijk. Het is zeer gunstig gelegen nabij een metrostation. Het is slechts een paar minuten lopen naar de hoofdvestiging van Ichiran, en er zijn supermarkten, Matsumoto Kiyoshi, Don Quijote, enzovoort in de buurt. Het duurt ook maar twaalf minuten om naar Canal City te lopen. Service: Het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam, en hun Engelse vaardigheden zijn goed, dus communicatie is geen probleem. Ontbijt: Het ontbijt wordt geserveerd in het restaurant naast de 1e verdieping, met een grote verscheidenheid aan Japanse en westerse gerechten, vers en heerlijk!

Of the three hotels we stayed at in Fukuoka this trip, this one was my favorite. From the moment you enter through the blue hallway to the welcome lobby and restaurant area upstairs, it's filled with vibrant, comfortable design. The room space is also excellent, featuring a round bathtub. It's about a 10-minute walk to Canal City, and there are many great restaurants right outside the alley. This hotel is definitely worth recommending; it's the best of the three we've stayed at in Fukuoka so far.

The subway and Don Quijote are just a minute away, and there are also convenience stores nearby. The breakfast is delicious, and most importantly, it's incredibly convenient for traveling to tourist spots like Tenjin and Canal City.

loved the location! it was 3 mins away from the hotel and near the malls. staff are nice and helpful too. the rooms are fine and well kept. i love that that train platform is so near our ebtrance/exit. would stay here again if i could

My repeated stay. Great Location as near Hakata station and several nice eats nearby and 2 different convenient shops downstairs. There is self check in luggage locker if arriving too early, coin operated washer and dryer, cold and hot water dispenser and microwave and their house keeping done daily. Staffs are helpful and always standby if you have problem in their check in/out machine or locker or other requests. Overall, it is great stay !

I was waiting in line to check in, but then I found out I was supposed to use a machine, which was a bit confusing. There wasn't anyone there to help, and I didn't understand why a staff member couldn't have just done it. The location was good, close to Tenjin Station. I added breakfast on-site, but it felt a bit expensive.

The hotel's location is quite convenient, just one stop after Tenjin. It's about a 1-minute walk from Akasaka Station's Exit 3. If you have large luggage, you can use Exit 6, which has an elevator, but you'll need to cross the street to reach the hotel. The room was cleaned very well, and the bed was comfortable. The room also came with a small plate and coffee cups, which were very stylish. However, the kettle in our room had mold, so we didn't dare to use it. When we needed to make instant noodles, we informed the front desk, and they provided us with hot water. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, and the bathtub is large. The lobby also has a luggage scale for guests to use, which is very convenient. The self-service washing machine costs ¥300 per use and automatically adds detergent, which is very handy.
