Ting at lave i Gaomei Wetlands

We travel to different parts of the world every year, and Joseph Mao is the first tour guide we’ve had who prepared PowerPoint slides for the itinerary. It was such a thoughtful touch and made it really easy to follow the trip. He was friendly, down-to-earth, knowledgeable, and always willing to help take photos. He also shared great local tips about pineapple cakes and Sun Moon Lake cakes. Very patient and professional throughout the day. We really enjoyed having Joseph as our guide!

Rejselederen er meget venlig, og han er også vores chauffør. Vores tur er en lille gruppe på 8 personer. Vi nød og kunne lide landskabet. Hr. Wilsons service er fantastisk, han sendte os information om turen. Han er altid punktlig.

Det var en sjov oplevelse at være i naturen. Vi havde oprindeligt planlagt at gøre denne tur selv, men det var godt, at vi benyttede os af denne. Begge steder lå faktisk langt fra hinanden. Som 2 timers rejsetid. Transporten var behagelig, og vi fik tilstrækkelig tid til at udforske attraktionen. Desværre var der ingen solnedgang under vores tur.

Vores turguide og chauffør var meget passioneret. Sprogbarrieren forhindrede ham ikke i at være en god guide. Eksempel nummer 1: Han var punktlig ved afhentning. Eksempel nummer 2: Under frokosten, da han spiste på en restaurant, spurgte han os, da han så os, om vi ville spise, og hjalp os med at bestille. Og sidst, men ikke mindst, gjorde han en indsats for at bruge sin mobil til at oversætte og kommunikere med os. Mange tak.

The day tour was wonderful. Our guide was incredibly kind and accompanied us throughout, and their driving was very comfortable. When it started raining towards the end of the trip, they lent us an umbrella and even gave us one when we parted ways. Even though they weren't a Korean guide, it wasn't inconvenient at all. Thanks to the guide's thoughtful and warm consideration, it was a great trip.

The meeting point was convenient, and our driver, Mr. Lai, arrived on time. Each of the four attractions had its own unique charm. The driver adjusted the time spent at each stop based on his experience and also provided relevant information. The National Taichung Theater has an elegant design with beautiful lines, and the ground floor features several exquisite gift shops where I found a pair of uniquely designed earrings. Rainbow Village was full of color and had a nostalgic feel, contrasting with the new buildings behind it. We arrived at Luce Memorial Chapel just as it opened, allowing us to go inside and look around. Gaomei Wetlands was the most anticipated stop; we were lucky to have great weather, and even with some clouds, we saw a complete sunset. It was incredibly windy, and wading in the water was wonderfully refreshing. I took over a hundred photos—it's definitely a place worth visiting in a lifetime. Feng Chia Night Market had so much delicious food at affordable prices; we ate until we were full, and the street-side seating had a great atmosphere. It was a fantastic half-day tour, starting at noon, which was perfect as it allowed us to sleep in for an extra two hours before exploring the night market.

We had a great time with Sophie as our tour guide. She spoke very well and explained each destination making the trip more interesting. Definitely recommend taking this trip if going to Taiwan for the first time.

Der var et problem med varevognens aircondition, da vi blev hentet fra stationen. Guiden satte os heldigvis af i Miyahara for at skifte bil. Chaufføren/guiden (hr. Wang) var meget venlig og talte flydende engelsk! Vi fik selskab af japanske turister midtvejs i turen, og guiden kunne også tale japansk! Solnedgangen ved Gaomei-vådområdet var storslået! Vi nød denne tur meget.
