Klook offers the best prices. If you want to experience the charm of the Northern Kyushu region, I recommend taking the JR. I bought a three-day JR pass and visited Kokura, Mojiko, and Kumamoto. I highly recommend Kokura Castle; although it's a reconstructed castle, it offers many interactive activities for visitors. You can also try on kimonos for free and take photos, or experience horseback archery—it's definitely worth a visit. If you get off at Kokura, you must try the chicken udon noodles at the standing noodle shop on the Kitakyushu Station platform, which has a long history; it's very affordable and delicious! Mojiko is a beautiful harbor with a European flair, perfect for exploring various historic buildings and taking photos. Curry is a famous local dish there. Kumamoto Castle, one of Japan's three great castles, has several centuries of history and is a reconstructed castle with significant historical value. The castle's main color is black, and its appearance resembles a samurai, giving it a majestic presence. I suggest taking the tram to Kumamoto Castle to experience the local culture and daily life.

Day 2: Roundtrip bus from Beppu to Yufuin ¥1,880; local bus ride around Beppu; Day 3: Bus from Beppu to Tenjin (¥3,250); local bus ride in Tenjin and Hakata (¥150/ride); RT bus from Tenjin to Tosu Outlet ( ¥1,540). To note: To activate on the day of 1st day of use and should be in front of the ticketing staff so they can print the ticket(bus ride from Tenjin to Beppu). Same with days 2 and 3 activate the day use in front of the ticket staff or bus driver, they check the date: Local rides in Beppu, Yufuin, Tenjin and Hakata no need for reservation just get a small ticket upon entering the bus. Bus rides for Rountrip Beppu- Tenjin and Tenjin to Tosu premium outlets needs reservation ( you can do it online or bus terminal ticket office)

Jeg brugte dette pas til at besøge Kurume og Kokura. Jeg havde allerede været i Shimonoseki to gange før, så jeg sprang det over denne gang. Kurume var faktisk ikke en del af min plan, men da toget kom, hoppede jeg bare på og tog en spontan tur. Jeg søgte efter information undervejs og endte med at beundre den store Buddha-statue. Til info kan man tage bus nummer 31 eller 35 fra Kurume Station (310 yen), og det er en 5-10 minutters gåtur derfra. Dagen efter tog jeg til Kokura, spiste burdock-udon og shoppede i 2nd Street, haha. Jeg synes, Fukuoka er dyr, så Kokura har flere overkommelige mærker. Især Niko and… havde smukke og billige vintagevarer, så jeg gjorde nogle gode fund. Hvis du følte, at Fukuoka var for dyr, kan du shoppe forskellige ting i Kokura, haha. Når du tager toget, kommer de for at tjekke din billet, så du skal vise den på din telefon. Sonic-toget har frie siddepladser i vogn 4-7…
