Hotel shuttle within 2km of Sendai JR Station makes getting around super convenient. There isn't much of a guided tour; everyone just shares a comfortable 9-passenger van. Be sure to check the email sent the evening before for the exact arrival time at the pick-up spot, and it is recommended to head downstairs a bit early to wait. The following costs are not included: Fox Village admission fee (Junior high school students and above = 1500 yen / younger = free); Hand-stretched Shiroishi Umumen noodles at Koan (meal cost). We arrived and waited for a table before the restaurant opened, with a total of about 15 people across two vans. It took 17 minutes just to be seated and place our orders after opening, leaving only 15 minutes until the meeting time after the food was served. Waiting so long for a meal and then having to rush through eating was quite stressful—while the van will wait for you, it is rather annoying.

Als viatgers que vulguin banyar-se en aigües termals se'ls recomana portar la seva pròpia tovallola per eixugar-se els peus. Tot i que el temps no va ser perfecte, ja que només vam poder veure res des del telefèric de Zao, el guia va ser molt útil intentant suggerir altres rutes. També va ser un guia divertit que ens va fer sentir relaxats durant tot el viatge. A més, els clients de Taiwan van ser molt amables i em van permetre unir-me al seu grup 🥹 Recomano el tour a tothom que tingui previst unir-s'hi. És millor portar una jaqueta per mantenir-se calent a la muntanya de Zao!

El guia turístic va ser molt atent! Ens va recollir i ens va portar de tornada a l'hotel. La furgoneta de nou places estava plena, però el temps es va gestionar amb precisió i fins i tot ens va fer una petita introducció dels llocs d'interès. Llàstima que ens va ploure durant tot el viatge, cosa que va fer que fos una mica més dur! Tot i així, vam sentir que, en general, va ser un viatge d'un dia fantàstic! No vam acabar cansats! El recomanem a tothom.

It was a very pleasant experience. I booked an early morning kimono fitting, and Klook happened to have a special deluxe package on sale (30% off). This included choosing the best yukata, three accessories, and a two-star hairstyle. As someone who struggles with choices, the staff worked hard to give me suggestions, and the resulting outfit was indeed luxurious and cute. It's quite different from wearing a standard yukata, so I recommend everyone try the deluxe package for a more special experience.

The instructor was very patient, especially when guiding us through the wagashi making process. Thank you also for reminding me of the artistic value of nerikiri and green tea – two types of treats I usually enjoy eating and drinking. I typically only know how to taste them, but here I learned to create every detail of the nerikiri. Additionally, the instructor spoke English very well; some idioms were still a bit unclear, but that was not an issue. Japanese was followed by an English translation when there were both Japanese and foreign participants.
