Čo robiť v Sendai Station

Hotel shuttle within 2km of Sendai JR Station makes getting around super convenient. There isn't much of a guided tour; everyone just shares a comfortable 9-passenger van. Be sure to check the email sent the evening before for the exact arrival time at the pick-up spot, and it is recommended to head downstairs a bit early to wait. The following costs are not included: Fox Village admission fee (Junior high school students and above = 1500 yen / younger = free); Hand-stretched Shiroishi Umumen noodles at Koan (meal cost). We arrived and waited for a table before the restaurant opened, with a total of about 15 people across two vans. It took 17 minutes just to be seated and place our orders after opening, leaving only 15 minutes until the meeting time after the food was served. Waiting so long for a meal and then having to rush through eating was quite stressful—while the van will wait for you, it is rather annoying.

Although we didn't visit during the winter, it was still very beautiful. The overall environment is peaceful with quite a few tourists. For visitors who plan to soak in the hot springs, it is recommended to bring your own towel to dry your feet. Sitting by the river to enjoy the scenery and relax is a wonderful experience.

Hoci počasie nebolo ideálne, keďže sme z lanovky Zao nevideli nič, sprievodca bol nápomocný a snažil sa navrhnúť iné trasy. Bol to tiež zábavný sprievodca, vďaka ktorému sme sa počas celej cesty cítili uvoľnene. Zákazníci z Taiwanu boli tiež veľmi priateľskí a dovolili mi pripojiť sa k ich skupine🥹Odporúčam túto prehliadku každému, kto sa ju chystá absolvovať. Radšej si vezmite bundu, aby vám bolo teplo na hore Zao!

The tour guide was very thoughtful! We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel, and the nine-seater van was full. The timing was perfectly managed, and the guide even gave us a brief introduction to the sights. It's a shame it rained the whole time we were there, which made it a bit more challenging! Even so, we still felt that overall, it was a great one-day trip! Not tiring at all! Highly recommend it to everyone.

It was a very pleasant experience. I booked an early morning kimono fitting, and Klook happened to have a special deluxe package on sale (30% off). This included choosing the best yukata, three accessories, and a two-star hairstyle. As someone who struggles with choices, the staff worked hard to give me suggestions, and the resulting outfit was indeed luxurious and cute. It's quite different from wearing a standard yukata, so I recommend everyone try the deluxe package for a more special experience.

The instructor was very patient, especially when guiding us through the wagashi making process. Thank you also for reminding me of the artistic value of nerikiri and green tea – two types of treats I usually enjoy eating and drinking. I typically only know how to taste them, but here I learned to create every detail of the nerikiri. Additionally, the instructor spoke English very well; some idioms were still a bit unclear, but that was not an issue. Japanese was followed by an English translation when there were both Japanese and foreign participants.
