Una de les millors coses per aconseguir quan viatgeu per Taipei! Súper convenient per a l'MRT, els autobusos i fins i tot per a algunes compres en botigues de conveniència. Només cal apropar la targeta i llest, sense necessitat de comprar bitllets constantment ni de preocupar-se pel canvi exacte. 🥹 Sens dubte, va fer que moure's per Taipei fos molt més fàcil. Imprescindible per als turistes! 10/10 ⭐️

This was a very good travel experience. The three-day Taiwan Railways pass allowed for smooth and unrestricted travel, and changing tickets was also very convenient. However, the exchange policies vary between different vendors, which was a bit troublesome. Especially for physical passes, the exchange locations should be expanded.

Vam viatjar el dia que el supertifó Bavi afectava Taiwan, així que vam agrair molt que el nostre viatge amb el tren d'alta velocitat de Taiwan continués operant amb seguretat i no fos cancel·lat. Ens va donar tranquil·litat i ens va permetre continuar els nostres plans de viatge sense grans interrupcions. They provide detailed guidance just in case you are unsure, which I found to be truly fantastic. This includes the coordination of flights and ferry schedules—they even replied to me after business hours (at that time, I happened to purchase the tickets on a Saturday for a Monday trip), and handled everything thoughtfully. Em preocupava no haver tingut cap comunicació sobre el tour fins a la recollida el mateix dia, però van venir a l'hotel a l'hora de recollida. M'hauria agradat que s'haguessin posat en contacte amb mi el dia abans, si fos possible. Els conductors de cotxes de lloguer amb els quals havia anat abans solien parlar molt, però el senyor Chen, en aquesta ocasió, només va parlar el mínim necessari, com ara respondre preguntes i informar sobre l'hora de trobada. M'hauria agradat que hagués parlat més sobre la informació dels llocs turístics. No obstant això, em va ajudar moltíssim quan em vaig quedar sense diners en efectiu a Taiwan i no vam poder anar al banc, ja que em va canviar diners amb els seus propis. Estic molt agraït.

The instant purchase and use feature is great. You first exchange your voucher on the first floor of Taipei Bus Station, then head to the fourth floor for Kamalan Bus. You can buy your ticket in advance for a specific time, and then check upstairs if there are any standby seats available on an earlier bus, which is very flexible. It's a great choice for going to Yilan, and Luodong is excellent. It takes about 1.5 hours from Taipei Main Station to Luodong, which is the new station at a new location. Not having to drive yourself is very convenient.

Overall, I was very satisfied. Our driver was a gentleman named Philip. Since it was a private charter, it wasn't a full-fledged guided tour, but he did a great job highlighting the must-see spots and recommending shops at each location. In the car, he also gave us a brief overview of the places we were heading to, which made the travel time more informative. This time, we departed from Taipei and visited Yehliu, the Jinguashi area, and Jiufen. We were originally scheduled to return to our hotel, but when I mentioned wanting to eat Braised Pork Rice for dinner, he recommended a great restaurant and kindly dropped us off nearby instead. This kind of flexible service, unique to a private charter, was incredibly helpful. I've been to the Jiufen area by bus before, but it was very crowded, and just getting around was quite a hassle. Since this was a family trip, being able to travel efficiently by car made a huge difference. I think this service is especially convenient for those who want to visit multiple tourist spots in one day or families looking to reduce the stress of travel. However, even with the 10-hour course, considering the traffic when leaving and returning to Taipei, the overall impression was that there wasn't as much free time as expected. This time, we mostly let him decide the itinerary, but precisely because it's a private charter, I think it would have been better to communicate our preferences beforehand if there were specific places we wanted to spend more time at or prioritize.
