What to expect
Starting from Tokyo, you can take a day trip to explore the natural and cultural beauty of Japan. Check out some niche Japanese attractions; Izu Omuroyama is a must-visit once in a lifetime! Omuroyama, the prototype of the meteorite crater in Makoto Shinkai's anime film "Your Name," has its crater covered with pampas grass, looking like a matcha cake from afar. There's a mountain lift built between the summit and the base, allowing you to take the lift up the mountain and enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of the Izu Kogen and Sagami Bay from the top. There's also Jogasaki Coast, one of the Eight Scenic Views of Ito, where towering cliffs tens of meters high stretch for 9 kilometers, offering beautiful and spectacular scenery. Beside the coastline is a lush primeval forest plateau, with rugged reefs at the sea's edge, where waves surge and crash against the shore! Crossing the rocky area, there's a suspension bridge, 23 meters high from its center point to the sea surface. In front are the sky and sea, and behind are sheer cliffs, making a walk on the slightly swaying bridge both romantic and thrilling!
Reviews
The wind is strong, and the waves on the coast are beautiful. However, the ropeway is closed due to the strong wind, so going to Mt. Komuro (where you can see Mt. Omuro and the sea) is not possible. If you plan to go on a weekend, be prepared for traffic jams, and note that this itinerary involves a lot of driving.
Mt Omuro is nice with chairlift up. Jogasaki coast is beautiful too. The only disappointment is that we don't get a chance to go eat any of the food along rhe whole coastal area of fresh seafood. Understandably it is a long drive away from tokyo. would like to stay around here next time.
Everything is great - guide Johnny, not full bus, good weather, punctual companions. We were greeted with a good sunny day for this trip. The guide Johnny is very helpful and efficient in sharing information. Group is small with a big bus.
our tour guide is Carter Sasaki, he is a very professional, explain the each place very well and take care of us. Make our trip very smoothly and fun.
The tour guide was really friendly and helpful, the view of the Mt. Omuro was amazing and wonderful it was fun going up and down the swing lift.
A great trip, easygo's tour guide Carter Sasaki was great, amazing. As long as it's great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, it can be described. Thank you for taking us through our day trip. However, a suggestion: The stay time in Izu Panorama Park can be lengthened. The existing 110 minutes is not enough, and it is very busy to eat and watch.
the only complain I have is that, is better that KLOOK should mention that we should prepare our lunch by ourself instead of last minute like 10 mins before boarding the bus in the morning the guide told me to quickly grab some food from an underground convenient store. the will still stop by a rest area to let us grab some food but is just 15 mins including the toilet break. so my advice would be better prepare all ur lunch the night before. the guide is good, he is very informative and overall friendly. the cable car mountain I wish we have slightly more time as I sort of have to run the entire way to walk the complete the circle of the mountain top.
The scenery of Mount Omuro is stunning. Sakigi Coast is also a must-visit attraction. Our tour guide Isabelle took good care of us along the way. We are a small group, and there are elderly people with limited mobility in the group. The tour guides are very attentive, explaining and taking care of us along the way. The driver is also very professional. The weather was very nice that day and it was a very enjoyable trip.
This is my third time participating in a Klook tour. Every trip has unexpected gains. The tour guides and drivers are great! The scenery of Mt. Omuro and the Josaki Coast are also different. I was very glad that I could see Mt. Fuji from Mt. Omuro that day.
We went there on a weekday and luckily there was no traffic jam along the way. The journey was very tight, all group members got on the bus on time, and the whole trip went smoothly. The tour guide Diffany was very friendly and helped take photos at the scenic spots.
